Question about CF and charting

I never seem to have any dry days. I can have some mostly dry days but at some point when I go to use the bathroom I will find some CF there (usually either sticky or creamy, sorry this is tmi I know).

How should I record this? does the tiniest bit of CF mean I should record it as sticky/creamy or dry?

thanks

Have you read the part of TCOYF about BIP (basic infertility pattern)? Some women really don't have any "dry" days, and that's ok! I would mark down your most fertile quality CM for the day, the CM with the highest water content. Also be sure that you're noting CF and not normal vaginal fluid, as I remember that being tricky when I first started charting. smile.gif

As Mosaic said, if you have the same CF for extended periods of time, this is considered your basic infertile pattern (BIP).  Always mark your most fertile CF for the day.  As long as you can see a change in CF as you go through your fertile period and beyond then you're good.  Also make sure you are not mistaking semen for CF.  I recommend doing kegels a few hours after DTD to get rid of excess fluids so that you can get an accurate CF observation the next day.  A few hours is all that is needed for the sperm to get where they need to go so doing kegels at that point will not decrease your chances of pregnancy.

thanks for the replies. I think I should probably pick up a copy of TCOYF.
