Please help me- I am a wreck

My 2 sons just got diagnosed with multiple cavities- 6 for one and 4 for the other. I am freaking out here and my husband is mad at me for being so extreme. A little back story- I have been chronically ill for 7 months and I am so so so scared that my children inherited my leaky gut. I always thought that cavities mean your teeth aren't healthy because your body isn't healthy. Is there any other reason? I may be absolutely crazy right now because of the trauma of my disease. If they are on baby teeth- can that just be from brushing badly?  Is there any reason not to fill them. I am seriously feeling shaky and sick

Just got here.
So sorry you are going through this. I honestly don't believe all cavities are just from not brushing, So yes there could be some absorption issues here or just lack of nutrients. It is a very frightening thing when you fond your kid has cavities after trying to be the best mom you can be during your circumstance.

If the cavities are really bad, I would consider getting them filled, but if they are mild, I would try some other stuff first like cell salts, pascalite clay, bone broth, etc. Also do you give your LO vit D? He could be low and just that alone according to the vit D counsel can heal cavities in children.

Thanks- after calming down a little and talking to my dh I feel a tiny bit better. The cavities are all really small and in between teeth so I do think there is an issue with bad brushing. I have already started the cell salts and will make sure I give them CLO (for some reason I don't think of it in the summer) I am trying to push the bone broth but it is a tough cell when it is hot out. They are strong healthy boys in every other aspect so I am trying not to freak out. It is hard when you have a chronic illness. My sister just came down with the same illness (interstitial cystitis) so I am so freaked about how much of a genetic component there is. I was literally sobbing yesterday for hours.

we are lucky to have just found a homeopath.MD ped who we are seeing so I will call her too.
