Well, this is a long time coming and hopefully "the one".  A little bit of history...

This will be my third DDC but the first pregnancy I carry to term, hopefully.  I have a genetic mutation that runs in my family that means each baby has a 50% chance of inheriting it.  The two first pregnancies had it so this time around we did IVF with preimplantation genetic diagnosis to screen out any affected embryos.  The first round yielded no good eggs, I believe due to poor blood supply to my left ovary from pelvic surgeries (right one did not respond this cycle), but the second round gave us two good eggs from the right ovary (left did not respond) to implant.

Blood tests 14 and 16 DPO were good so I know I have at least one bun in the oven.  We had requested to not know the sex of the embryos but the doctor accidentally let it slip that both of them were boys.  It is really weird to know what you are having even before you know that you are pregnant!

Nice to meet you all and hope to be a long term member this time around...

Congratulations, and best of luck to you!!  I'm so sorry for what you've had to go through to get here, but so constantly amazed at the wonders of modern medicine that allowed for a diagnosis of your previous problems and, hopefully, a good outcome this time around!  I went through 3 very early mcs before corrective surgery allowed me to carry my dd to term (she's now 5.5yo).  It's such a roller coaster, but so worth it-- there's just no love like it!  Welcome  :)
