help please -- need recommendation for an endocrinologist with experience with chronic fatigue

Specifically I am looking for an endocrinologist (or other specialist) who has experience treating thyroid issues and is at least open-minded about using natural desiccated thyroid supplements.  My general practitioner is great but feels out of her depth.

I will travel anywhere in the MD/DC/VA area, but hoping to find someone covered by my insurance so any and all recommendations appreciated!
