I've been frequenting TheBump.com during my pregnancy because I used TheKnot.com for wedding planning and already had an account. As I progressed in prgnancy and became more educated and discovered that my views about birth and parenting don't really fit in with those of the ladies on those forums. I mentioned my frustration with the online community to my midwife who directed me here and I'm sooooo excited. It will take some adjusting but I'm certainly looking foward to the more welcoming atmosphere. I can just tell this is more of my "home". Â

To introduce myself a little...Â
I got married last november and then we got pregnant not long after. This we didn't plan on but now we can't imagine life any other way. Â I am 36 weeks 3 days pregnant with a baby girl. I plan to give birth at a free standing birth center with a midwife. I'm a Bradley Method momma and love my instructor, she's a flipping hoot!! I was in school to become an elem. teacher but that is on hold for now since the baby is my top priority. My husband and I are young, which gets us some weird comments but I'm 22 and he's 21 until late Sept. Congrats if you read all that. I know I was rambling a little but I'm just excited to be here.Â
