6-7dpo red bleeding plus intense/unusual low back pain - implantation or something really off?

At 5dpo, I had a couple tiny slight red spots on TP.  At 6dpo, my red bleeding picked up to become just a little less than AF. Late in day on 6dpo, I started having intense horrible low back pain that made it difficult to stand.  Today, at 7dpo, I still have the back pain though it has decreased by late in the day.  My red bleeding has decreased a bit, but it is still way more than spotting.

I chart and used an OPK, and I'm quite sure re ovulation date.  Also, my luteal phase is always 14-15 days.

I'm afraid that this amount of bleeding sounds like I am getting AF at 6dpo, which has never ever happened before.

Also, I have never had this back pain before.

We are TTC #4, and I never had implantation spotting/pain/anything with my first 3.  So, wouldn't it be weird to suddenly start having implantation symptoms?

I'd so appreciate any wisdom you guys have re this :)  Thanks so much :)

It would not be weird to have implantation symptoms with one pregnancy and not another, but implantation bleeding is really not that common.  Plus implantation would occur between 6 and 12 DPO, 84% of the time occurring between 8 and 10 DPO.  So bleeding at 5 DPO is not likely related to pregnancy.  What is more common is hormonal breakthrough bleeding, which could occur for a variety of reasons.  With the  pain you're experiencing and the amount of bleeding it sounds much more like you're dealing with something else to me.

Can you share your chart?  Do you temp and track CF or just use OPK's and a calendar?  If the latter then there is a possibility that you did not ovulate when you think and what you're experiencing now is related to ovulation, AF, a cyst, pregnancy, or a miscarriage.  Please keep us updated!

The severe low back pain and bleeding in combination would concern me, and I really think you should see a doctor.  Please keep us updated on what's going on!
