When will the thought process change?

Or will it ever?

Over two weeks ago I woke up one day and the thought of eating meat made me gag.  A few days later i forced myself to eat it and got sick.  So that was that.  No more meat.  I love being vegetarian.  I think my childhood allergist was right when he said I have a sensitivity to beef and chicken.  I feel like a whole new person.

However I'm having trouble with the mindset.  I'm addicted to Pinterest.  It's been great for recipes.  When I come across a recipe that is omni, I immediately thing YUM!  Then I think, meat-yuck.  Kinda like when you are pregnant and have a food aversion.  You know you normally like that food, but then the thinking about it makes you sick.

Will that first thought go away?

I've been a vegetarian since June 11, 1984. For some time I missed sausage pizza and my mom's chicken and dumplings . At some point I stopped craving the stuff. Now the thought of it (on those rare occasions when something brings it up,) I have no basis for it in my brain waves. I used to like it, I know that intellectually, but it's as much a part of my sensory experience as the thrill of snowboarding the Himalayas.

Ive been a veggie for 5y...i was one before, went back to meat but now 5y since I ate my last meat. The odd time I get a "craving" for something...usually something like my gmas beef stew and dumplings...or gmas turkey and stuffing or a fresh lobster. But then I think ok if that was sitting on my plate Id puke even before I tasted it...then I no longer want it lol
