Need help helping others with discrimination

I moved to Denmark about a year ago. I am not Danish and don't have any long term ties here. I did however start a parenting group because I couldn't find one I connected with. It grew and grew to 40 families and we are called "Copenhagen Alternative Parenting group"

Several mothers in the group have been kicked out of restaurants for nursing. One was told prior to even being seated she couldn't nurse (they saw her with a baby and said it as a preventive measure). This is on going but only in certain places......but Denmark is reported as being an overall nursing friendly place (although it always seems to be tiny babies....)

As far as our group can figure there is no direct law to do with protecting breast feeding. Business owners are trying to call it "indecent exposure" but the cops say that wont fly, or so I am told.

What can I do to address this? Write to the papers? Approach business owners? Approach the cops? Help formulate a plan of action for moms in our group (IE call the cops? sit it out?)

Should we make a list of places not to do business?

I need help with this- I am a foreigner here. Do I stand back and watch or try and help these women find some ...plan?

Not sure how it would work there, but you could stage a nurse in if there is a restaurant that was particularly offensive.  I can just imagine how a restaurant that was worried about one woman BFing would respond to 40 women BFing!  You could also, if you prefer more formal measures, try to get a law passed which states that a woman can breastfeed her infant anywhere she would ordinarly be allowed.  Even with such a law, though, if it is not socially accepted it will be something that takes time to work out.
