Does anyone know whether the GI bill will pay for Waldorf teacher training, and if so (or not so), can you give me a link that will state so?

Thanks!

Jess

TheGI bill will cover any kind of training.  You can use it for school, trade school, re-imbersment for professional tests, continuing education, and even internships and training.  Normally, you just have to have a school or training program sponsor you, and send in the paperwork.  Is this the 'regular' GI bill or the post 9/11 GI bill?

I concur! DH is using the 9/11 bill now, although not for Waldorf training.

The post 9/11 GI Bill- husband is transferring to me, and hopefully I'll be attending Teacher Training.  The schools that do teacher training are not yet posted in the list of schools/training/universities that have been approved.  Wish me luck!  I think the benefits are transferrable and are able to be used starting October 1, right?

All I know is that DH couldn't transfer his to me. He'd have to reenlist or something in order to. So, now I have my own student loans. Ugh.

Best of luck to you!! I hope it all works out.

DH was in for 9 years. I just asked and he said it was because he was already out when they started allowing people to transfer it.

No, my Early Childhood degrees aren't Waldorf.
