Hurricane!!!

I'm starting to get nervous, I've never cleaned my house with such fervor!! I'm also ready to cash out some swagbucks for a travelocity gift card and head for the hills! I'd take the three kids and our dog to somwhere in middle PA.  I still have to sell this plan to DH though

I didn't think much of it given that we're three hours inland, however out electric company sent robocalls saying we WILL lose power and they WILL take a long time to get if back on. Interesting announcement. I'm making ICE for the freezer and fridge and hoping for the best.

Yeah power outages etc is waht I'm not looking forward to...I think I'll pick up some batteries and oil (for the lamp) tomorrow and maybe a few non-parishables that do not have to be cooked...I'm not freaking out though I don't think it will be a big deal for us because we are far from the coast...power going out will be annoying though and it goes out pretty often as it is so with a big storm I imagine it will go out and stya out for a while...booooo!
