Ear blocked, compressed wax?

About a week ago I got out of the shower and used a cotton swab to get the water out of my ears like I do after every shower, but I must have pushed wax into my ear because my ear has been blocked since then. I feel it pop it isn't an issue with that. I've tried Debrox and a homeopathic oil for the last few days. I've tried candling, 2 last night and 2 tonight. It seems to get better then worse.

I know I should probably go to the dr, but I have no insurance (or money) and a 1 year old who won't stay with anyone but me, so between the 2 it is near impossible. Is there anything I may have missed? Will it work itself out in time if I quit messing with it? Anyone have ideas?

Whenever, I have had this happen (yes it has been many more times than once). They end up using something like this at the Dr. Office - http://www.amazon.com/Health-Enterprises-Inc-Removal-Syringe/dp/B000SOJXGA

So I would try something like the Ear Wax Removal Syringe.

Several days of placing warmed oil in your ear before using the syringe should help soften the ear wax and make it easier to remove with the syringe.

OMG! I had no idea to even look for something like this. Thank you so much!

Try putting in hydrogen peroxide and when it stops "fizzing", rinse it out with the ear syringe. If no wax comes out, repeat the hydrogen peroxide and rinse. You might have to do it 3 or 4 times before any wax comes out.

Ive used these with great success. Last time I got about two inches of wax out of my ear that was about as thick as my pinky. Totally gross, and after dissection I found two bugs.

Health food stores usually carry them. Be sure to watch a video on how to do it first, and dont catch your hair on fire or drip wax into your eyeball smile.gif
