I just had my first pelvic exam Monday and started spotting and then bleeding.i waited for two days for this to go away but thinking about my last two pregnancy's,i did not want to chance it.so i went to the er and they gave me a ultrasound but i was too early to see much so they wanted to go into the oven to get a closer with a vaginal ultrasound to look at what was baking.i didn't want that due to my spotting but they did and found the baby and a heart beat whew.. i was glad that all was going swell but then another team of doctors wanted to do an exam and another vag ultrasound .OMG i did receive more good news that my cervix was still closed and that the bleeding was just from the placenta breaking off blood vessels or something.but they said everything looks fine. so i went home home and the next morning..i had the worst pelvic pain like premature labor with hard cramp every 2 to 3 minutes and changing pads too,so i laid down and drank plenty of water for 3 hrs.slowly the pain stopped and the bleeding eased up.no more peeking in this oven for 12 more weeks,i cant chance it uh uh no way.has this ever happened to anyone else?Â
