Going in the pool pp

I have no intent to actually swim ( laps or otherwise), but was hoping I could go in the pool to cool off. I'm twelve days pp and my bleeding has almost stopped completely- yesterday I barely needed a pantyliner, today is the same except when I first went to the bathroom this morning there was a clot that came out when I urinated. This is our own pool and it is chlorinated and it is hot! Yay or nay?

I probably wouldn't, but that's me.  I figure if I can't put anything in my vagina, then pool water would count as "something."

Although I tend to air on the side of caution with the postpartum uterine healing.

As long as you don't have tears that are still healing, I would say it would probably be okay since its your own pool.

Now public pools... I don't even like going in those anytime.
