Vax-Friendly Ped/Doc in Pullman, Spokane, or Moscow, ID?

DH and I are strongly considering a move to Pullman, but I'd be willing to travel to Spokane for a ped, family physician,or naturopath who will respect our decision to vaccinate selectively and who will sign the new state-mandated exemption certificate without any hassles or Bad Mommy lectures.  Any recommendations?

(Silly law!  Didn't the proponents realize that we'd all just find providers open-minded enough to rubber stamp our decisions?  mischievous.gif)

I do think the law is rediculous since most people who aren't educated vax without question (and they accussing us nonvaxers of not being educated).  That being said, by law the care provider has to discuss the pros and cons of each vaccine with you.  If they just sign the form without doing that you can get in big trouble.  My ND did a great job of going through the whole pro/con thing quickly (since she knows I know my stuff), and of course she has always been respectful.  But she did say she has to give the speal or she isn't following the law and can get in trouble if someone reports her.

So just a heads up.

Is this a form for school/daycare?

Dogmom327, it's for both.  Out of either naivete or arrogance, Washington docs, public health officials, and politicians decided that one more Bad Mommy lecture at the doctor's office oughtta change the minds of disobedient parents  eyesroll.gif  Never mind that I'd sooner consent to a pyramid scheme than the Hep B vaccine for my preschooler, but I'm patient enough to sit through their guilt-and-fear sales pitch while biting my lip to hide my smirk.  Anyway, they sign a certificate saying that they told you about the risks and benefits of vaccinating (i.e. did what doctors are supposed to do, law or now law  eyesroll.gif  Any guess what my opinion is of this law?  lol.gif).

Thanks, Dahlia.  Yea, by "rubberstamp" I just mean that they'd go through their obligatory rigmarole but still sign my form.  Glad you found a naturopath who works for you!  I'm actually considering switching all of my well child checks to naturopathic care, especially after I get the vaccines and doses that I *do* want for my LOs.

Mamas, I'm amending the thread title to include Moscow, ID, so please let me know if you can recommend anyone.  TIA!

Thanks Tuquesa!  One more reason I'm so thankful we can home school.  Stupid law.

Funny how parents who do want to vax don't have to sign a detailed consent form after their doctor has gone over ALL the risks and benefits of the vaccine.
