sunshine radian detachable base - the locking.. thing fell off!

I had ds's carseat out of the car last night because the cover was in dire need of washing. At some point between the car and the house, the base got knocked off. So I'm replacing the clean cover today and putting the base back on. I pushed down on the metal tab to lock it in place, as the directions state, and the whole thing just fell into my hand. The tab, a spring, a screw, and a washer. ACK! There was nothing in the directions about how to put it back together and I couldn't figure it out right away. We were in a hurry to get to church and since I couldn't attach the base correctly, I had no choice but to install the seat ff :( he's over 2 at least, but still! I'd rather keep him backwards as long as we can. Anyone know how to put this back together so I can turn him back? Is there a video somewhere that will show me how?

I'd post on www.car-seat.org to ask (you don't to register), and tomorrow morning during business hours, call Sunshine Kids & ask them. I've never had mine come off, nor looked at the little piece closely enough to know how to put it back together.
