ideas of work/playthings to make for a 21/2 year old?

I posted this on the "at school" montessori forum. No one answered, I guess because I am really looking for some homeschooling (or even UNschooling ideas to make for my 21/2 year old. I mostly mean indoor work.

We're not montessori but my 2 1/2 year old will color, stack blocks, pour water from cups (in the kitchen sink or outside) while I work with the older kids. If I'm desperate, I'll let him watch videos on the computer. But we mostly try to work as fast as possible during naptime.

CHeck out the blog Counting Coconuts. It's written by a homeschooling mom who was a Montessori teacher before having her son. There are so many wonderful ideas! We combine Waldorf and Montessori methods and she has so many great ideas on her blog that I want to try them all with my younger DS, age 4.
