winter activities

DD1 will be 3 in October and I want to enroll her in something for the winter.  She just needs an activity where she can be super active when it's too cold to go outside.  I have no idea what though.  For the 3 year old group there's activities that are 1-3 with parent and then 3-4 alone.  I have no idea which one of those would work better.  Heck I don't even know what activity (gymnastics, ballet, basketball??) to put her in b/c there's so many options here.  What have you enrolled your 3 year old in?

I haven't done anything yet (LO is only 2) but I would definitely say gymnastics for a 3 year old. So much fun, tumbling and bouncing and being silly. Plus I remember loving it as a kid

We haven't done a single class (shrug) but we do love those indoor play center things that have free play. DD at that age *and now* could have spent hours there, and it was a nice thing to add to our rhythm. Between that and just having friends over to run around it was a nice way to get out during winter time.

Gymnastic gets my vote. My kids adore it at that age because they keep it fun for the little ones, they certainly burn off some energy!

we have a fabulous community pool where we go in the winter.  gymnastics can be fun, too.  My DD loves ballet as well........ many places have indoor soccer and such, as well....
