Holiday Grand Plan 2011... - Page 2

I'm totally behind. Jeremy started school two weeks ago and I'm still getting accustomed to all that that entails. I just printed out the plan so hopefully I'll be able to catch up by the end of this week.

I finished up our entry way yesterday, doing all the interior entry and then cleaning windows in and out.

This week with living room, it's mostly dusting, vacuuming including under furniture and its cushions etc.   I started clearing clutter today so I can actually dust.  I also have some new pictures to hang that need the wires put on the frames first.   We'll be out of town two days this week so I may not get to it all, but should get to most of it and will carry over into next week if necessary.      

I noticed that the planning calendar is missing the living room on it.   I'm not sure why...  I do recall from previous years that living was next after entry way.   

I also keep finding that their website is 'hung up' and I can't view the content.   Sometimes it works great and other times not.   I wasn't planning to print everything out because I really don't want the binder around.   I made my lists in Word and then check back to the website too.

This is what I am doing too.  I didn't want to print anything out...I'm just following their room schedule.

We cleared off the front porch, swept it and put only the necessary stuff back. YAY!

Now on to making my to-do list for the living room. Why does the living room not appear as its own room?

rainy and nasty today... and supposedly for the rest of the week.  Guess painting is maybe not the best plan.  Today's deal: dusting and decluttering the rest.  Possibly dusting behind the couches and stuff, too.  Maybe painting the windowsills too, but I don't know.

I have figured out that my problems with viewing the Grand Plan website are because I use Google Chrome as my browser.   It works fine in Explorer.

I am behind with the Living Room but since I did the Foyer as part of last week's "room", I will finish up the living room next week if I have to.    Plenty to do around here regardless.

Wellll... I didn't get even close to enough to enough done last week.  Wednesday was the kids first day of school and thursday we were under a state of emergency from flooding and then they put us under a boil-water advisory and so we decided to "escape" to my mom's house.  We got back late yesterday and we're STILL under a boil-water advisory.  I'm not overly clear on what that means in terms of my cleaning so I'm sort of waiting to be able to use the sink again before I do more.  *sigh*

I think it means you have to boil water to consume, but if it comes out of the tap clean then you can use it to wash floors and bodies and whatnot.
