8 month old refusing to breastfeed suddenly

Hey mamas! Hoping someone can give me some insight. My 8 month old has refused to breastfeed for the last 2 days. He did fine with dreamfeeding last night but then again today he refuses to nurse. He won't even touch my nipple, and squirms and pulls away as soon as we try to start feeding. He's fussy and seems hungry, although he's eating solids fine. He had formula last night at bedtime (he gets 1 bottle each night). I haven't started any new medications, and I haven't had any unusual foods. He does seem to be teething (no teeth yet) but that's been going on for a few weeks. AF is here right now, but it's the 4th day, and this is my 3rd AF after his birth, with no problems before now.

I'm at a loss! Neither of the other 2 kiddos ever did this. Any thoughts/suggestions/ideas? Thanks so much!

Nursing strike?  Keep offering every couple of hours, and I personally wouldn't offer bottles during a nursing strike.

It should resolve itself in a few days.  :)

OK so right after I posted, I stripped him down to his diaper, and he took a nap on me in the wrap. When he woke up, he did a full feeding! LOL. Hopefully that's the end of it.
