My kids are marginally vaccinated. I had skipped a few well visits, and it was time to get back in.  I was also going to get one vaccine at this time, as we delay, not refuse.  It had been about 5 years since the boys had had anything, and at least 2 for little sister.

Our family doc was absolutely wonderful. He's never pressured, and today we talked about which ones we could do, which ones could easily wait. The Nurse practitioner who did the well check on little sister was actually verbally supportive of my decision to delay and break up vaccinations, stating that she used to work for an immunologist (sp) who said "we don't get 5 diseases at once, why should anyone get 5 shots at once?"

So my point: there are good practices out there and supportive doctors.
