Moving to Bend OR!

Woohooo!  Finally getting a whole year in Bend!  My hubby is from Bend and his family is still there too.  Hubby is military and will be going to Okinawa Japan for a year while we find a home to stay in until he comes back.

We were hoping to go to Okinawa with him but were denied due to me not giving my 14yr old some immunization and because her doctor put her on an inhaler for very mild asthma that seems to be a higher dosage than for an average teen.

I'll be VERY interested in finding chicken pox exposure for my 5yr old son.  So keep me in mind?  It will be greatly appreciated and I look forward to getting to know some other Oregon mom's!:)

I sorry that you are not joining your husband in Okinawa but welcome to Bend!  We have a really nice group of AP mom's that get together fairly regularly.  You can join at https://www.bigtent.com/groups/bendap.  We moved here in October and love it, lots of great events in town, easy access to outdoor activities of all types and friendly people.  Pass me a note if you want to get in touch!

Thanks for your reply.:)  We've finally arrived and I forgot just how beautiful this state is!  I'm really loving this town of Bend and we've been trying to hit up the fun stuff before my hubby has to go overseas.  It wasn't easy finding a place to rent but we accomplished it! Woohooo!

Now once we get moved in to our place and settled, I'll be able to get more going around here!:)

Thanks!  Since coming here, now I can see why Bend is so close to my hubby's heart.:)  I'm really loving this place!
