Anyone ever get Cps called on them for an OOPS babe?

Say you had full pre-natal and you had all intentions of laboring in a birth center, but said birth center was an hour drive and you didn't make it (but thankfully were not in your car yet), and you called the MW right after and everything, would CPS possibly get involved in that?

Someone would have to call them, and I'm not sure who would in that situation?  CPS can and sometimes will get involved or take a kid for no good reason.  But the chances of it happening are probably really slim, so it's not something that I would worry about in your situation.  Especially if you received full prenatal care and all of that.  CPS loves prenatal care.

I didn't have any problem when I had my fourth at home with an unlicensed midwife and told the health department that it was just dh and I at the birth (for the birth certificate).
