I am not liking homeschooling right now, fighting with dh too - Page 2

Not for their ages. I am in Texas and they keep adding a grade each year. The two children I am referring to are beyond the ages/course work for where the online schools have gone. I am planning to try the online schools for the youngers though, assuming they have expanded it that far by then. I am looking at a variety of programs for at home that are online.

can you rearrange the house so your husband can have an office on a top floor or the garage or set up an outside little cabin?

do you know someone wise who can do some mediation between you two? Maybe an older homeschool couple you trust.

You sound tired, depressed, overwhelmed, and disconnected from your family.

I can very much relate.

Have you asked your husband what he could he do to make it all work? We have five now and it is nuts. We are not prepared at all for all we have to deal with as a family unit and parenting.

if he wantes the kids home next year, then he needs to help. For example: He needs to set them up an office area for their schooling and science stuff. Then he needs to set aside his Saturday to teach science.

We have another family that we try to get together with once a week. It has been a life saver for me. They have 6. We let them play and then talk by ourselves with just the little ones nearby. I need that time. I go nuts when I don't. I need to know we all struggle with similar issues. I need someone who knows us well enough that I can bounce my problems off of.
