My family has been living in Lynbrook, on Long Island for the last two years.  Looking to find other pro-breastfeeding, natural-living families to hang out.  I've been having a tough time meeting like-minded families, which is pretty discouraging and isolating.  I joined my local LLL group, but it looks like they'll be disbanding for lack of attendence.  We hit up the library and the local parks, but (can I say this without sounding completely judgemental??) the moms I've met don't share our parenting ideals.   I'm mom to two boys, ages 2 1/2 yrs and 4 months and no, I don't think that it's ok to jump on people's furniture during playdates, or let your kids have rotting teeth because they don't like having their teeth brushed.  Is that so wrong?
