looking for a holistic pediatric dentist in Atlanta

I need a good pediatric dentist who offers oral sedatives asap...we had DD's cavity drilled and half-filled on Monday, but they weren't able to finish because my daughter was really hating the procedure and the laughing gas was not helping at all. 

It would also be really nice to find somebody who won't tell me that the reason my daughter has a cavity is because she's still breastfeeding.

I would suggest trying to contact one of these folks.  I do not see any members in Atlanta but maybe these towns are close.  I worked for a holistic DDS and he was a member of this association.

Thanks...it looks like there's one dentist on that list who offers sedatives and pediatric care, but he's 30 miles away. :{ Appreciate the quick response, though! I might call him...

I cannot recommend Dr. Hansen enough. My extremely fearful son took his oral sedative from him without complaint, the man was like a miracle worker.  www.pediatricdentaltown.com

I don't know where you are, but I drive 30 minutes to see him in Johns Creek, and I'd drive farther if I had to!  They have been truly great to us.

My DS also sees Dr. Hansen.  He was really great and his staff was very gentle and DS took to him right away.  I don't think he's specifically holistic, but he did recommend xylitol for DS and only filled one cavity and took a much more wait and see approach than the other dentists we saw.  He has an office in Cumming, Ga as well if that's any closer to you.

I also took my daughter to Dr Hansen and loved the practice.  She only had a cleaning but I was expecting a complete meltdown and even had my husband come as backup.  She left the office asking when she got to go back!  She let them do everything to her and were very patient and didn't recommend or push anything on us that we didn't want.  I would definitely recommend giving them a try!
