I found out that if there is no scheduled screening in your area, the dvd is available for sale and can be shown wherever you live.  The only difference is that the maker of the film would not be there for the showing (which of course, would be great), but it can be shown anyway.  It is a moving film, showing the extra complication of cultural pressures.  Highly recommended.

I was at the showing in Atlanta last night with my "On the fence" husband. He almost fainted during one scene. I can honestly say that I don't think he is on the fence anymore.

And I got 2 autographed copies of the film. One to give to someone. It was very moving.

I have the dvd, but have not watched it yet.  I want to show it somewhere here where I live, since there isn't a showing with the film maker.  I wish my copy had an autograph!  It's good to hear it had an impact!

It is a hard film to watch, I have a copy of it too and there are some scenes that I just mute and close my eyes.

My husband thinks we should send one to the California Legislature!  He says someone will watch it.
