I was slow about updating here because I was feeling lazy. My dentist (who I love!) said he can't do a filling because of the position of the cavity- he wouldn't be able to get the drill in without damaging the adjacent tooth. However, he took a panoramic xray of my mouth and we looked at the cavity and its position in relation to the root. It looks like it is just a small cavity and he said there is almost no possible way for it to grow so much in the next year that it would reach the root where it would cause problems. His opinion is worst case scenario there's an infection that can be treated with antibiotics while I'm pregnant, there is almost 0% chance of needing surgery in the next 12 months. He gave us the go-ahead to do the IVF cycle, I passed the information on to IP's and the RE, and we are a go for this cycle! I start estradiol valerate and dexamethasone and antibiotics tomorrow... and the real fun begins! (Haha)
Great news! Bring on the fun!
Hi all: just dropping in to say that I had my uterine surgery yesterday and all went well. The doc saw a septum and removed it. Hopefully this will help if the embryo was in fact implanting on the septum and not getting the nutrients it needed. I will be healing for the next four weeks with the support of hormones and then bringing my period on. So next ovulation, we hope to be ready to inseminate with our KDs! For now, I'm laying on the bed with the pup and watching stupid movies and trying to be a good patient (which is very hard for me).
I'm so happy the surgery went well
Afm: KD is heading over in the next hour or so for insem #1! Yay! If my temp doesn't go up tomorrow we'll likely insem tomorrow afternoon too. I love insem day lol
