Insem #1 done. It went fairly well I think. I had to do it myself again and unfortunately KD didn't get here until close to 8 so DD was melting down and it made it a bit stressful. Oh well, I did the best I could at the moment.

MrsPP: Refresh my memory did you do an ICI or an IUI? I have heard that sperm can be nourished and last a couple of extra days once they are in the cervix, also I had a slow rise this month so maybe you did O when you thought and FF just needs to catch up. It initially had me Oing the day after I actually felt O and then after a couple of days of high BBT it changed O day to the right one. I know it is easier said than done, but relax everything is going to work out great  And no I did not test today

AFM: Well I am at 12DPO, and in a few hours I will be 13DPO  I got a little discouraged this morning because I had a temp drop, I def know that it way too late in the game for an implantation dip, especially because it appears that I had one on 8DPO. Now I am super nervous that even with 6 eggs it just didn't work. I have started to accept defeat, but DP is still hanging in there, we are still however planning for next month's cycle and we have a pretty good game plan, we just need to meet with the RE again and get on some different meds. I am really hoping that with the travel (I am currently visiting my mom in Atlanta, so it was a cross-country flight) & my lack of sleep (I was deeply disturbed by the execution of a seemingly innocent man here in GA yesterday so I tossed & turned all night) and I had to get up at 6:30am (3:30PST) to do Wedding stuff with mom today that is why I had the dip, but only time will tell. I will check in and let you all know how temping went. We have decided that we are waiting until either AF shows up or Monday to test (Sorry to keep you all in suspense). I am going bonkers, but I am happy to know we will have our answer soon!

Ok sooo a real high temp rise for DP this morning.

So we got a +opk Monday, her temp dropped tuesday morning and we insemed (she always gets a dip before O)  and She usually Os that night. So wednesday DP1 temp rise of .4 (we did one more insem just to cover bases) then Thursday DP2 temp drop off .4 then today DP3 a temp rise of over 1 degree..

Could it be this fallback rise? When I looked it up it seems to be exactly that so I hope so. Does anyone know how long the sperm lives inside you when you do fresh shipped sperm? We do that.

AFM: Just popping in really quick to say that my temps did go back up this morning, I am really hoping that it was just the travel and the lack of sleep that caused the temp to dip so low. I am going to try and attach the charts (1 with the temp from travel/sleep issues & 1 with that temp discarded). Which chart should I go with?

Hello Ladies! Just dropping in to say hello and ask for some opinions. So what do you guys think about no symptoms at all? I am 8 dpo which is 6-7 days before AF. "Normally" at this time I am feeling a lil crampy and my breast are ALWAYS sore! So far nothing! The only thing out of my norm is I am extremely thirsty. I have been drinking about 96 oz of water for the last 4 days. So anyone plz feel free to tell me your thoughts.

Brite: I wouldn't worry too much about one temperature. The overall pattern is what's important and unless it's a temp at the beginning or the end of the LP (first or last) then it doesn't really indicate anything inconclusively in my opinion. All that being said though, if it was me, I would keep the temp in my chart.
 

Amt: I think someone on here recently had tons of symptoms one cycle and wasn't pregnant and then nothing the next and that's the time she got pregnant...Graceie ,that's who it was! When are you testing?

Afm: Second insem tonight...it was quite late though, around 9pm so I'm thinking it was a bit of a waste. The amount wasn't great either - 2ml. I just googled what the average amount of semen is and it is 2-5ml. I'm wondering if the others on here are using a different measurement when they said they had 10 units for one sample? Or maybe they have a super hero...which would definitely be awesome ;) I guess I'll move to the 2ww now, please.

I have gotten sick of seeing the BFN so last month I didn't test at all so when AF showed her ugly unwanted face I didn't feel as sad as I normally do. I guess if AF(due Sept. 29th) doesn't show by Oct 6th I will test cuz that will put me at about a week "late". I hope your TWW flys by and you get your BFP!

We are 4DPO and just just hoping for the best..

My DP was kind of depressed last night. Shes just thinking negative this time. She says its not gonna happen, all these straight people get pregnant not wanting too but we watn it bad so its not gona happen. She says she doesnt think her body was made to have kids.. BUT she wants one. Im like chill woman lol it takes time. We have to be strong and patient. We had great timing and we have a good chance. Sometime it takes 1 time sometimes 6 or more. Shes really healthy and doesnt have any pcos and her LP is 12-13 days so its good. She just wants a baby so bad that she hates the HPT saying negative. Well everyone does. I told her we gotta stay strong and not give up. I told her if it doesnt happen this time we can look into IUI at the doctors office. I think her insurance may pay for it. We have to look into it. Oh and she says the feeling of sperm in her is weird and gross and she doesnt like it... She was just having one of those sad nights. Not sure why cuz she hasnt. We have been positive about this all saying we know it will happen when its meant to be and so on.. IDK I just wanted to share my night with you girls...

I think I am out ladies, I am 14DPO and my temp took a major swan dive this morning. It is still above the coverline, but I am sure that AF is on the way. I am really sad about AF, but I am more sad for DP & the disappointment she will feel. I have felt broken since DD's death so disappointment is not new to me, but DP wants us to be pregnant so bad and I feel like my body is failing us. Sorry to be a Debby Downer I am just feeling really defeated right now. I mean we had 5-6 fully mature eggs and not 1 fertilized?!?!

I will be back for personals when I am feeling better....

So its 5DPO and her temp went down some. I think this temping is driving me nuts this time lol... BUT do you think it could be since she sleeps with the fan right at her body all night? Like when we take her temp in the morning its like i said right there pretty much in her face..??? I did notice that her cervix is still high and she told me her BB were a lit sore.. lol. I think we want this so much any sign we are like maybe this is it lol. but im sure we are all kinda like that.

Oh and DP is better. Not depressed like the night before. She wants this but is not getting her hopes to high cuz she was crushed when it didnt happen last time. But I reassure her it will happen it jst takes time, plus we still dont know about this month. We had real good timing so?? We shall see.

Hi Everyone!  I've got a sperm tank in my living room!  

I introduced myself a couple of months ago, then promptly vanished.  I have a 7 month old daughter that my wife delivered, and we are now ready to start working on #2.  It will be my turn this time.  I really struggled for a couple of months wondering if if the time was right.  I spent three months tracking cycles, but there was always the voice in the back of my mind that said we were crazy for considering another baby.  Honestly, that voice is still there, but I am not sure if it will ever go away, so we are going to go for it.   As for specifics, we are using frozen sperm from a WTBKD. We are using the same donor that we used for #1.  Each cycle, we do two IUI's and an ICI at home. This cycle, we are actually just doing to ICI's at home.   I should ovulate in the next 48 hours!  Anyone else have similar timing at the moment?  I would love to have a cycle buddy.

Afm: I had a very emotional morning with several moments of "oh my gosh, I don't think I want another baby." Just feeling sad today and DP and I have been arguing lots lately so I'm also a downer! I'm 2DPO, my temp is way up so I think I had a good O and good timing. Started natural prog. cream this morning as well. Oh, and eating pineapple of course. Yum. We're off to see Pearl Jam tonight...our 2nd date in 21 months if you can believe it!

So after I wrote DP did say when I took her temp yesterday morning that she was cold so made me feel better lol. Today is DPO6 and her temp is 97.18.. We take her temp at 4am so we are not in the "whats normal" temps...

I did have a question tho.

Before she ovulated her temps are usually around 97.03.. Well then day before she Od it went to 96.86 then it rose after she Od back to 97.03 then had a dip but then like i was saying she has the fan in her face so that might not even had been a dip so ?? Any ways then it rose to 97.16 then yesterday we took her temp a little later after i was freaking out and it was around 97.16 again and today its 97.18....

MY question is I read that it should rise .2 degrees and up and she does rise like that.. She went from normal 97.03 to 97.18 as a rise... Is this ok?? so she rises 1.5 more after she Os. Is it maybe different because we temp at 4am? Should I be worried lol... Anyones temp not go up so high either?

AFM - like I mentioned above FF did put up crosshairs exactly where I was hoping. I've been having all kinds of "symptoms" but I think a lot of them could have been in my head. On Saturday (5dpo) I was nauseous on and off throughout the day and had some weird crampy/twingy/pully feelings in my lower abdomen on the right side. It was actually kind of sharp. No spotting or anything but I have been having creamy cm...hmmm. I know it's still early and I should really be taking all of this with a grain of salt but I can't help but be a little hopeful. I have a bunch of cheapie internet tests and might use one on Thursday which will be 10dpo. We bought some FRER's this weekend too but I don't think I'll bust those out until Saturday. But we'll see if I can stick to that

Good Morning Everyone well we are officially out. AF showed up this morning with a vengeance, I guess it is back to the drawing board for us. I am so disappointed and I have shed my tears, now we just have to figure out what's next. I want to quit so bad, but I know that if I quit I will never get pregnant. Thank you all for your kindness and words of encouragement during this 2ww it has made the pain of AF lessen and for that I am forever grateful!
