Vienna- congrats on the insem and welcome to the TWW!
rs11- welcome!
lisedea- Sometimes our cycles just vary, even when they are usually so similar. If your other signs line up, I'd say trust those. Otherwise maybe you're just O'ing a little late.
Â
carmen- Yay Oct 6- that feels like a good day... if you're not already pregnant!
want5bpapa- I admire the grace you have in this decision to shift in the direction of adoption.
yeledov- sorry about the BFN. :(
Â
meghanc- sorry about your BFN too. I can't imagine what it must be like to find yourself at this point in the TTC process. Keep us updated about what things you decide.
Â
AFM- Well, we are all packed up to leave for the airport in the morning. I'll try and update while we are in CA... this is it! Soon I might be pregnant! Even though it has been so many months in the making, I can still hardly wrap my head around it. I am feeling so ready!

Good morning!
Â
Oh Rainbow, I'm so sorry
I hope you're being gentle with yourself. Thinking of you during this time. xoxo
Â
KS -Â hope you have a great trip! And come back pregnant! Good luck with everything.
Â
mumquest - Congratulations!!!

Â
meghanc, want2bepapa and Yeledov -Â So sorry to hear about the bfns - thinking of you all. xoxoÂ
Â
Hey Max! Nice to see you poking your head in! So sorry about your ankle!!! Is it the same one as last time? Sending you healing vibes.

Â
Vienna - Congrats on your insem! Welcome to the tww. It sucks.
Â
lisedea -Â Ack! Sorry about your wonky cycle - I hope things line up better for you very soon!
Â
Krista, Carmen and anyone else I missed -Â
Â
AFM -Â 10DPO and BFN. I know, I know - it's still early. We're not terribly devastated just yet. My temps are still higher than usual, still having creamy cm and some cramping/twinges on my right side. Who knows.Â
ETA - I just had a crazy hot flash - took my temp and it was 99.6! Pretty sure I'm not sick. Do you think this means anything?

Krista: Thank you so much for your words of wisdom. This AF has really given DP & I a chance to reflect and make some realistic expectations for the future.
Â
Carmen: Yes all I wanted to do on CD 1 & 2 was give up, but I am feeling better about trudging forward. And for you, give that little bean some time to travel and snuggle in and I am sure you will be "feeling" it in a few days!
Â
KSDoula: I agree my chart was pretty perfect, but I guess charts too can be deceiving ![]()
Â
Mumquest: Congrats
Â
Invitin: An intentional self care ritual when AF shows up during TTC is a wonderful idea! I think that would help with the emotional & physical pain a lot! I did take CD 1 off work and I just laid around the house, and vegged out in front of the TV. Once DP got home we cuddled and she siltently cried, that seemed to help a lot because the next day we were prepared to discuss where we can go from here. And you are so right CD 3 I was more level headed and clear, and now CD 4 I am ready to jump back on that horse LOL! As far as progesterone I was just thinking about asking for that this cycle. What exactly is it for?
Â
Meghan: Indeed it does, it felt like last cycle was "it" but we have a new game plan and more realistic expectations so I am feeling much better!
Â
Papa: I am so sorry to hear about your BFN
I wish you and DP all the luck in the world with which ever decision you make! I know that you both will make great parents either way!!
Â
Yeledov: Could it still be too early to know? I still have my fingers crossed for you. I am hoping that your holiday will provide you an opprotunity to relax
As others have been telling me, you never know a BFP may sneak up on you when you least expect it so COURAGE to you
Â
Max: Oh no! I hope your ankle heals quickly! But that is FANTASTIC to hear that your adoption paperwork & dissertation is almost complete!! We miss you too!!
Â
Lisdea: Hmmm I am not sure as to what could be stalling O, but I am hoping that you will get your postive OPK soon!
Â
RS:
Good Luck at your RE appt and getting a regime going for your PCOS!
Â
Vienna: YAY for insems! And it sounds like your timing was great!
Â
MrsPP: Thank you so much
I am being much more gentle with myself then I was a few days ago. As for you 10DPO is too early to know! But all of your signs sounds wonderful so I am hoping that all of those things line up and you get your BFP by the end of the week!
Â
Whew.... I was worried for a few days there, there wasn't a whole lot of chatter, but then I come back and it seems as though an explosion happened LOL! (That is a great thing!)
Â
AFM: As I have stated above, I have been trying to be more gentle with myself and DP really have been taking these past few days to come up with a good game plan for the future. We did a cyst check on CD 2 and we are cyst free so we are cleared to continue! My RE switched me to Femara (2.5 I think) and I am really hoping that we don't get hyperstimulated again. We have also decided that we are changing banks & donors, not that anything is wrong with PACREPRO it's just that their prices are so expensive and we now realize that this may be a long journey and we will be in the poor house before the baby arrives at this rate. So we are looking into Manhattan Cryo (anyone heard anything about them?) since they have a more ethnically diverse donor pool. We go in next Friday for a follicle check and hopefully insems next weeeknd sometime. Thank you all for all of your words of encouragement and support it is so appreciated!

Lisedea: that seems strange that you would not O suddenly.....perhaps just delayed? Stress, travel, etc can delay. Are you sure you always O?
MrsPP: 10dpo can absolutely be too early

Brite: Good for for being gentle with yourself, so important in this process.
Afm: 6 dpo....the days are flying by it seems. I'm having all sorts of achy cramping and lots of creamy cm today. Hoping those are good signs and not just annoyances. In bad news, we just found out we have to hand over $11,000.00 for a special assessment on our townhouse complex. Ugh.

carmen: acupuncture: everyone keeps recommending this. I'm somewhat scared of the needle part but people tell me that it is super relaxing. i will try this.
Â
Brite: progestrone is a hormone that helps support conception and pregnancy. my LP is somewhat on the short side at 10 days typically. I am thinking that progestrone can help lengthen it. Maybe you what to check into it.

I was terrified of the needle aspect too. But, it's actually nothing like regular needles. They are so fine you don't feel them going in at all. And if you feel anything after then that's the good part :) And you can close your eyes the whole time. My appointments are about an hour, we chat for awhile, she checks my tongue and pulse and then after she puts the needles in I relax for at least 30 minutes. She puts music on (or whatever I want) and an eye pillow and I usually completely fall asleep!

KS--I definitely don't feel as though the rest of signs are lining up...we will do a cervix check tonight though. FF gave a tentative O day on CD12 because of my temps...but I am fairly certain that I did NOT O then... Do you know if it possible to not ovulate in a cycle if you have a fairly regular one? I do go to a fertility specialist next Wednesday...good timing!

Totally possible! I have heard that everyone has an anovulatory cycle now and then, or even just a late O date if your body feels like it is not ready to support conception on a particular day. (stress, illness, etc.)
Afm, in CA now, easy day of travel yesterday (though long.) enjoyed the farmers market and yoga this morning. Tomorrow is my ultrasound to check lining thickness. I am so ready!
