New to site and to South Florida!

Hello! I'm new to this site and am not sure how it works exactly but I'm looking for any information or advice on schools and doctors in the Fort Lauderdale area. Can anyone direct me to the right place to ask questions? I'd also like to join a local play group... my son is 3 and a half and needs some friends!
