Ok, so I am very serious about charting this time.  I have given myself an "update" on FF in terms of charting and am reading the BFing chapter in TCOYF.  Now, can someone give me a tip on how to build a chart?  I am on CD 610 (lol) and so FF is all weird and the ovasoft software bugs me and is equally unhelpful as I am on CD 610.  Should I just pay attention until AF?  Because if she's a while in returning I'd like to work on catching the first eggy (December-ish or later).  Also, any good suggestions on reading in terms of helping with return of fertility while BFing and on conceiving while BFing?  (I have a bit of baby fever going on these days, am feeling very enthusiastic!)

Thanks! I'm sorry I'm still here too winky.gif I did actually get pregnant last month....but it ended in m/c at 6wks. So, on to try #3! We didn't transition DD into her own bed...but she happily sleeps through the night with us now! From about 8:30ish to 5:30ish. She wakes once, sometimes twice but just cuddles up and goes back to sleep. It's been that way for about a month and half maybe? Next up we'll try her in her toddler bed in our room and leave it at that until she's ready for her own room. I'm in no hurry to have that though!

What about the kellymom website for info on fertility and bf'ing?

LOL! Most months this is us as well. DH has a physically demanding job as a farmer in the TX heat all day which wears him out, and I'm usually a bit tired myself by the time we actually get our co-sleeping daughter to SLEEP! This month the timing was really good though so fc!

nstewart Maybe I should know this already, but when was your 1st PPAF? I was recently reading in Breastfeeding and Natural Child Spacing that any bleeding before day 58 PP can be discounted. Would this apply to you? CD 610...oh my!

AFM I finally made a decision regarding NPC. I ordered Progestelle yesterday and luckily it has already been marked as shipped so maybe I'll get it by Tuesday. That would already be 7 DPO though. I will probably start using then though if AF hasn't come. Maybe it will help and surely it can't hurt, right? I know ideally I should start using it a lot sooner after O. Zoe it can be a PITA for sure. I took Prometrium through the 1st trimester with DD. I had two miscarriages before that though, so if the progesterone will help sustain a pregnancy I guess it is worth it.

welcome, sammymamma and ears :)

Geigerin, sorry about AF!

texas, I hope the NPC works for you, please keep us posted. :)

Hanging out with my LO's..waiting to O...and trying not to obsess...ha!

nstewart,  I agree with carmen on the kellymom site. Also, I've been reading Fertility, Cycles & Nutrition by Marilyn M. Shannon (4th Ed.). I found it through addall.com.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear.  I am on CD610 because I haven't had a PPAF yet...So according to the TCOYF software I'm on CD610 (hence the reason I'm not sure how to start charting again, if I should start with today as CD1 and see what happens??).

Thanks for the advice on the reading Carmen and Sraplayas.  I am going to read Kellymom this evening and I will see if my local library maybe has the Marilyn Shannon book.  I'm also going to see what LLL has for suggestions.

Ears, welcome.  I hope you have a short stay in this forum!

Welcome Ears wave.gif.  Where are you in your cycle?  Hope your stay here is lickety split.

Geigerin - sorry about AF. hug.gif

Texasfarmom - glad you got the NPC ordered!  I hope it works for you.

AFM - I looked into fertility yoga and came across this http://www.yoga4fertility.com/yoga4fertility/poses.html  I started doing them tonight.  I figure why not throw everything I can at the TTC process.  Otherwise, I'm just hanging out somewhere between 3 and 6 DPO.  I'm pretty sure that FF has my O date too early.  Oh, and my thermometer (BD) that I just got this cycle had the battery icon show up today.  I'm not too surprised because I've had very flat temps this cycle.  I got a new battery, so I'm curious what that will mean for tomorrow's temp.

Sorry about AF, Geigerin greensad.gif

Thanks for the yoga link, SKJ. Funny, I was *just* searching for a book at the library with some fertility yoga poses last week! I couldn't find it so this is perfect smile.gif

Afm: 8DPO and I'm guessing this isn't the one for me. I'm not having the intense cramping I usually get when pregnant. I know it can be different every time though. We'll see....I'll likely test on Monday.

Ears, welcome, and may your stay be short!

Geigerin, sorry about AF

Carmen, here's to hoping for a BFP tomorrow :)

Thanks for the feedback on my cycle ladies, I really appreciate it!  I'm still not convinced one way or another about my spotting being implantation vs AF.  So far, four days of spotting, and now light, creamy CM today, with my temp still up... I don't want to get my hopes up :)  I'll probably wait until next week to test, unless my temp drops, then I'll call it AF.

Welcome, Ears !

Carmen , I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

SKJ , thanks for the yoga poses! Always good for centering an unwinding, too. smile.gif

afm CD2. Crampy and heavy. Ick. According to my calculations, AF started 10-11 DPO. Would that be low progesterone? Is that due to nursing? Not that I would change what we're doing there. Just curious. If that's so, mother nature sure knows how to space babes. wink1.gif The trouble is, I'm 31, DH is 43, and we want a big family. So I'm impatient. Lol What resources do you use to understand these things? I left a voicemail for our midwife, but I don't expect a quick return call. What natural sources of progesterone are you using, if that's the path you're taking?

Ears - welcome! fc your stay here is short and sweet

nstewart - I am also in the CD600+ club!

I just started a new chart when I started thinking about ttc and then started a new chart again when I switched from temping orally to vaginally. I'm on "CD25" on the new chart, so I'm fairly certain any old data isn't relevant to what is going on with me now. Have you had any signs at all that your fertility might be returning? I don't think there's any harm in starting a new chart when charts start to get too big to display properly.

I'm still not sure what is going on with me. Had EWCM on Thursday and Friday, watery yesterday. OPK was positive on Friday and cervix was soft, high and open. I hoped that I'd see a temp rise on Saturday or today but it hasn't happened. I did have a couple of glasses of wine on Friday night and usually when I have a drink it makes my temp shoot up by about a degree. I didn't do that on Saturday so I'm wondering if maybe I had a temp dip then but it was masked because I'd had a drink? even one glass of wine is usually enough to really effect my temperature. Then last night my toddlers both ended up in the bed with me and DH so I had a lot of night nursing and really broken sleep, temp was about normal for me this morning. Yesterday I also had a lot of quite painful cramping and my nipples are quite sore when DD is nursing. Today CM is drying up, there's been a little bit of spotting, cervix is back to low, firm and closed. Everything would seem to point to ovulation except for my temperature!

I would have expected it to have risen by now if I had ovulated.

10 or 11 days isn't too bad - definitely possible to get pregnant! Mine has been 11 days and I got pregnant last cycle. I started taking B6 a few cycles ago and I just started natural progesterone cream this cycle. I did have mine tested right before I miscarried last cycle and it was low but apparently not 'dangerously' low. I haven't noticed a difference in my supply.

Hello Ladies

Im new here but really hoping that this will be my month. Im really struggling with NOT being pregnant yet...

Thank you SKJ for carrying me over to September...my DS is 8 months now.

Hi to all ladies...Good luck for September. It's Spring for us here now but I guess it's autumn/fall for some/most people here. I think this is good timing because sometimes a change of season is just what we need.

I did do an HPT but it was BFN, although it could have been too early but I supect I'm out. But we'll see...still have a week til AF. I won't be too crazy though, I'm a lot more peaceful this time for some reason.

xx Good luck & fingers crossed to all!

I have to take a refresher course on EXACTLY how much time occurs during ovulation but I am fairly certain it was two days ago...  so I guess I am playing the waiting game now.  I have a 30 day cycle and it is pretty regular.  *sigh* I can't say enough how liberating DTD protection-free is.  :)

I got a BFP this morning!

Haven't even told DH, he's still asleep.

ETA: I told DH just now, he's thrilled; we're both in shock.

I'd like to tentatively join, we decided the other day that maybe we should see if we can go for another one. I had a daughter Christmas Day 2009 but she was only with us for 3 weeks, a year later I had a son who is 2 in December and sort of started to nightwean. I went on the prog bcp and have stopped taking it now. No ppaf so I guess I'm waiting to O, but I guess it'll take a bit for my body to realise what I want it to do. I don't even have any sticks to pee on just yet, and I've not found my thermometer either. How nice would it be to have a pregnancy that wasn't planned down to military precision! Anyway I may find my thermometer later, although while co sleeping with a toddler who is only just starting to be nightweaned I do not think I have much luck with signs. I'd probably have more luck reading tea leaves! Which reminds me I may start on the RRL tea to get my body into cycle mode again.

EmTheWife That is great news!

Geigerin I finally ordered Progestelle. It only contains coconut oil and progesterone, not all the other additives the other NPCs seem to use. Also, I personally called Dr. Eckhart who had done a lot of research on progesterone and spoke with him. He is very helpful! One thing I was shocked to hear is that some cultures use Aloe Vera as a natural abortificant. MOST NPCs have aloe vera in them as well as a lot of the products we use in our daily life. Find Progestelle here: http://www.womhoo.com/

nstewart I would start a new chart. I like things to be nice and neat. winky.gif

Welcome newcomers!!

carmen - fingers crossed that this pregnancy is just starting out different for you and that you get a BFP soon.  Your chart looks great!

sjbiic - Welcome!  Where are you in your cycle?

OceanRoad - I'm hoping it was just too early to test and that you will get your BFP any day now!

EmTheWife - yahoo!!!!!!!!  Congratulations for being our first September BFP.  joy.gif

fazer - Welcome.  I'm so sorry for your loss. hug2.gifI hope you get an unplanned BFP in record time.

texasfarmom - thanks for the info.  If this month isn't my month, I will order the Progestelle.

AFM - just hanging out somewhere between 5 and 8 DPO.  I have my annual on Thursday with my midwife.  I will be 8 to 11 DPO.  I doubt that I'd get a positive pg test that early, but maybe.  If no AF by then, I may ask for a test.

EmTheWife - Congratulations!!!! joy.gif

EmTheWife --Hooray!  joy.gif

Finally have a +OPK this morning!!!  For some reason, this cycle has felt eternal and I'm only at CD19. On a good note, I've felt very relaxed this month (thanks to a vacation and cutting down on caffeine in chocolate and decaf coffee/tea). Hoping I'll see a temp spike in the next day.
