1000 minutes September!

New month, new opportunity! My schedule is insane this semester, so I went ahead and blocked in specific time to work out for 45 minutes three times per week. I'm hoping that, plus walking/biking/hiking, will get me close to 1000 minutes. And the forecasters are saying that we may have actually seen the last of the extreme heat. (We've had 76 days of 100+ temps this summer, including two days last week where it hit 112!) So I'm hoping outdoor activity will start to be an option again.

My other goal is to actually log my workouts! I've been exercising pretty consistently the last couple weeks and totally stopped tracking. But logging it is a great motivation.

Here goes! Good luck.

Aug. 1 -- 40 minutes strength training (moved up to a pair of 5 lb weights, up from 3 lbs! Yeeowch! But it felt good.)

Total: 40 minutes

I am interested in joining you all! September is such a time of fresh starts or me. Even though I am no longer a student, I still feel invigorated at this time of the year. I am looking for some accountability, as well as some incentive to just exercise every day - even if the conditions aren 't perfect. I will do a combination of running, yoga, walking, and biking with my little one(s). I hope that this motivates me to get my butt in gear! I have done it in the past and it worked.
So... Hello to you all and good luck in getting your minutes!!!

09/01 - 45 min. Yoga

I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the weatherman yesterday! Rain?! Low 90s?! I'm looking forward to it in north Texas! Lol.

Happy September! Four of my favorite people have b-days this month. Dd1 will be 9. My MIL, dad, and hubby each have a bday too.

9/11 yoga teacher training, this was more active.  Kundalini class and a hatha class with a new teacher.  120  played with kids in yard later acting crazy 20-140

9/12 yoga 60 walk 35- 95

9/13 5 tibetan rites 5 (lol. so much energy from 5 minutes!  I'm more tracking that I did it than counting minutes but what the heck) catering 30-35
