if you could look at my chart please? i had pos opks. i think i o'ed. but now i have 2 "fallback" temps. what do you think?

Ok Ladies I am bit concerned here. Could you take a look at my chart? Today is CD28, I am 10dpo and AF is due today. My temp is still up, CM is still scant sticky and my CP is so high I can't even reach it. My period is NEVER late. Even when I O'd so late last cycle, I still started on time. The only time my period has been late is when I was pregnant. I did take an internet cheapie with fmu this morning and it was a bfn. However, I am still worried. Any help?

well i gues ff an tcoyf just dont ever agree for me. now tcoyf is saying i o'ed the 25th. that is better for me bc of the whole condom breaking thing. but sheesh. i cant wait until i can tell what is going on. lol.

Hi ladies, can i rejoin please? used to be on this thread till March I think, then had a break from NFP. Have been back to charting for a month now, and have an odd situation right now I could really use some help with. Here's my chart:http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/33d5d5

Hope that link works! Basically FF is saying no ovulation detected, I have missed a few days temping due to travel and also lost a scrap of paper I wrote two days' worth of temps on, grrr!! But even before that happened the temps were very irregular (I admit I'm not terribly consistent about the time of taking them, but previous charts I also wasn't very regular and they weren't THIS jagged). I'm 3 days, nearly 4 days past my expected AF and I can't remember ever having been more than 2 days over except when I was pregnant, obviously. I took a preg test today but it was negative, however I got pee on the test window by accident which they warn you not to do, so it might not have worked properly, and a friend of mine was pregnant but tested negative... so I'm not entirely reassured.

But still, I'm prob not pregnant so what do I do... keep being careful because FF says Ovulation could occur any day now - can it really occur after day 31?? Seems crazy. Or maybe I just didn't ovulate this cycle for some reason. Im confused, help please :) Thanks!

Butterflymama - just saw your chart.  I was about to tell you that you had a nice chart this cycle and that you were in the normal range for LP so far when I saw your test result.  Even though you were not trying right now, congratulations!  You will be a busy momma.  I hope you are feeling okay.   If you don't mind sharing, can you tell what happened with dtd so we can all learn?

Devaya -  welcome back!  there is not a clear pattern for ovulation, I can see why FF is not detecting ovulation.  Ovulation can be delayed and people can have really long cycles at times so it is possible you have not yet ovulated.

Lioness - I would guess TCOYF is choosing that day based on your OPK result.  Since you had that and ovulation pain on that same day and it is in line with your CM, it may not be that far off.

Jodi~ Thanks! I am still in disbelief. I took two FRERs this afternoon and they were both bfps. I just took another internet cheapie this evening and it was a bfp too. All were pretty faint, but 3 tests can't be wrong right? Even though this baby wasn't planned, I am praying for a sticky bean. Ugghhh I just bought the TCOYF book yesterday....figures...lol. Oh well I will be uber prepared next time.

Congrats, Buterflymama!

Well, after my two days of EWCM, I went back to sticky and slowly worked up to EWCM again today, which is CD18 and my normal ovulation day. Back to temping and i won't have very many temps, but hopefully enough to actually see a shift for O.

happy charting, all!

I hope you have that sticky bean as well.  No matter how it happens, that first trimester can be so scary waiting to find out if everything is okay.  I know that after having a miscarriage in my 12th week prior to Michael, I was so nervous with my subsequent pregnancies, especially with my last one.  I worried a lot and it took my mom telling me that she had a good feeling that everything was fine for me to relax a little bit and enjoy it.

I hope everything goes so well for you and we will see you back charting and using your new book after you have had a chance to have a babymoon with this new little one.  Feel free to chat with us though!

Lionessmom, it looks like you probably ovulated, but due to the temps, I'd wait another day or 2 to be sure.  I'd set your CL at 97.3 and guess ovulation on or around CD 23.  Were you dry every day after that besides CD 27's C?  If so, you're probably in the clear, but having 2 undisturbed low temps in a row concerns me a bit.  It's likely a sign that your hormones are still regulating, but it is possible that it is a sign that you have not ovulated yet, and while your temp went up today, it was a disturbed temperature, so we still don't have real confirmation of your temp going up and staying up.  I would wait another day or 2 to be more sure.

Butterflymomma, a 10 day LP is the short end of fertile.  This is a fertile cycle for you.  It looks like your hormones are getting you back to normal.

Devaya, it looks like you have a pretty clear peak day on CD 20, and while you can't be sure with the temp data that is there, if you shave the temp on CD 18, it looks like a temp rise is likely to have begun by CD 24, and it is likely that you ovulated somewhere in there.

Congrats, Butterflymomma! Now, you are gonna have tons of time to read TCOYF! lol

Thanks JMJ and Jodi5. I read through more of TCOYF last night and I'm inclined to agree with you Jodi that i did ovulate somewhere between day 20 and 24. I've been dry for 2 days so I don't think ovulation is still coming. Whew, can relax this weekend then ;)

And congratulations Butterflymama, wow! !

i am not even sure it was o pain. but it felt more like that than it did digestive pain, which i do get, but those are usually on both sides at the same time like a pulled muscle pain. this was a sharp turned dull ache that lasted a couple of minutes. it seemed to coincide with the opks. but now i am not sure i should have it there. i used to get bad mittlesmertz every time i was off the pill. like it felt like something was shooting out of me. but i never felt it when i got preg with any of the babies. :shrug

it is so confusing still but i really appreciate everybody helping me!

i had put my pessary back in and when i pulled it out the next day it was covered in creamy stuff. however i have been dry since. almost painfully dry.before my last neg opk i was noticeably wet. i wonder if my pessary would contribute to more cf. do you think it could be aggravating my cervix? i did have to get refitted with a smaller one bc i lost 40 lbs in the last 6 months. my gyn was surprised when she saw me. said she usually has to give people bigger ones not smaller. lol.

Thank you ladies! I took a digital this morning, just to be super sure and I am definitely pregnant. We are still in shock. We do want more children, this one is just coming a little sooner than we planned. God is in charge though and he obviously feels we are ready. The only thing is that not enough time has passed since my last pregnancy, I still remember how tough it was on me. wink1.gif

Jodi~To answer your question about what went wrong? The answer is.. not being careful enough. With my LP so short last month I honestly thought I would have trouble getting pregnant. We used the pull n pray on a day that we really should have been using a condom. My suggestion, when in doubt cover it up. So, nothing really went wrong except human error.

WOW! Congratulations and hoping for a sticky bean for you!

I haven't been posting much in this thread. I decided there wasn't much point to charting day after day of wet CM and low temps. Blahhhh. My CM seems fertile but I'm obviously not ovulating, so my BIP is too close to a fertile pattern for me to feel comfortable interpreting it as a BIP. Count me out of the charting game for the time being.

Whoa, I totally glossed over it in my hurry last night.  Congratulations, Butterflymomma!  Praying for a sticky bean!

Would anyone please take a look at my chart?

I am either having an odd month with NO PMS at all, which has never happened....or there is a chance that I might be in the 2ww.

We DTD on CD18, which both my own paper charting, FF and the phone app for CTA that I use says was the day that I O'd. ....FI reminded me that we were very busy in the middle of the night that night....I'd forgotten.

I'm really hoping that AF shows up. She's due either tomorrow or Sunday, per my usual LP. FF has AF projected to arrive on Monday.....

If she's not here by next Wednesday....I'm going to test.

Happy 2ww, CarsonBookworm.  Your chart looks very much like you Oed around CD 18 or 19ish.

Thanks JMJ & physics girl!

CarsonBookworm~ I hope AF shows up for you on time. You have more patience than me waiting until Wednesday to POAS. wink1.gif
