While breastfeeding I can...

This may not be the best place for this but I thought it might be fun...

This spring I had to put together a flowerbed and while it took me a month, I managed to put the whole thing together with both kids in tow. I was so proud of myself for being able to run a cordless drill (SAFELY) while breastfeeding. I will admit, it is probably not the sturdiest and certainly not the prettiest but it has held up to growing our harvest bounty.

So I told a friend who told me she could breastfeed while washing the dishes. (How does that work?)

So that got me thinking...

We are women of action in a modern world...

WHAT CAN YOU DO WHILE BREASTFEEDING?

(I can also play angry birds...but only while lying down ^_^)

I can grill mean burger (safely..hey a mama's gotta eat too)

I can help a 2 yr learn to use the potty, wipe and wash hands

Those were my 2 most noteables.  lol  Along with walking around the zoo, watching the kids play at the splash pad.  I've also vacuumed.

while breastfeeding I can:

sleep

eat

use the bathroom ( I know - YUCK! but when you've a screaming newborn and no one there to help...)

cook

take a walk

talk on the phone

read

type

shop (some strange combo of the Ergo and Ikea happens to lead to BFing)

shower (at 16 months it goes like this: "oh, mama bent over, can I reach?" "oh, she's moved" "she dropped the soap, here's my chance :latch::" aiming with his mouth like a little birdy)
