is anyone else stubbing their little toes constantly?

This is pregnancy #2 for me (well, #2 that got beyond the first trimester). I'm 24 weeks and have been stubbing my little toes constantly and repeatedly for the last month. One of them is now severely sprained (maybe broken, but I never got an x-ray -- I think it's just a bad sprain).

My DP keeps telling me to stop walking around the house barefoot to protect my feet. But I've ALWAYS spent all summer, every summer, barefoot in the house, from childhood to now in my late 30s. I love being barefoot in the warm weather. In all those years combined I don't think I've stubbed my baby toes as much as I have this summer.

So is this pregnancy-related? Or have I just developed a new level of klutziness? I've heard of women's feet sometimes changing size with pregnancy, but I've even bought new shoes this summer and my feet seem to be the same size they've always been (with the exception of my one swollen, sprained toe greensad.gif ).

I have stubbed my little toe repeatedly too :(  it hurt like crazy...  also around 20-25 weeks, I believe, was when I had that problem - I stubbed mine on the ottoman of our glider headscratch.gif.  I am 30 weeks now, and haven't stubbed it in a while thankfully and it seemed to have healed... I have been a total klutz this entire pregnancy though ROTFLMAO.gif

Growing up my mom stubbed her little toes constantly, like every day several times a day.  It was always a family joke:)

I'm at 21 weeks and last week I stubbed my little toe so hard that I cut a gash in it and it bled.  I have definitely felt myself becoming more clumsy... You're not alone. :)

That's so weird! I am CONSTANTLY stubbing my baby toes but I've always done that so for me it's not pregnancy related. It is weird though because I'm not particularly clumsy other than that one thing. I've never heard of pregnancy making mamas clumsier but I guess in your case we'll have to add it to the side effect list and you'll have to let us know if it goes away after your pregnancy!
