jessimaca- this is my 6th pregnancy (3rd baby) and i don't start showing until about 20 weeks. people who show sooner arn't actualy showing 'baby'. the uterus moves up out of the  pelvic bone, which causes the other organs and muscles to shift, which makes it look like a baby bump. some people do this sooner, some dont. 

i have a long torso, so my ther stuff has a place to go instead of "out". so i'm with you, jealous of all the cute bellies! but dont frett, you'll get one too.

p.s. i have aq good friend who never showed...with either pregnancy. if she wasnt paying attention she could have been one of the ladies on "i didn't know i was pregnant" because she was 9 months preggo, and she didn't even look like she had had a big meal. yikes!

I woke up at 12 weeks and noticed I grew a belly, overnight.  Never had that happen before.  I could feel and see my uterus laying in bed and I'm showing.  I love seeing all your baby bumps!  More! :)

Adore & Viv~  Thanks for calming my mind   I can feel my fundus just up over my pubic bone and I have to admit I'm pretty excited to actually show eventually.  But, I'm sure things are more comfortable and easier when your small-- I need to work on enjoying every moment!

I suspect that is why I just look really bloated.  Well, I am bloated, but also because the other stuff in me is shifting up.  And I am enjoying letting it all hang out, especially after eating.  Don't worry--when you show you'll know it's baby!

I love seeing everyone's bumps! 

I'm not due until the very end of April so I'm only 10.5 weeks now and I am impatiently waiting for my bump to develop!  I actually feel like I have less of a tummy that I did a week or two ago, I think it's because I'm less bloated. If it weren't for my pants getting a bit tight (and huge boobs), I wouldn't know at all that there's something growing in there! 

When I have a proper bump I will post a pic!  Hopefully that will happen in the next week or two, but this is my first pregnancy so who knows?

Ok I finally got pictures on the computer to share. I feel like you can see the growth in the last shot.  The first two, I notice a difference from my pre pg body but I doubt anyone else can. And btw, wendybird, I love your children's names! Enjoying seeing everyone's posts!

so here i am at 14 weeks today (by u/s date or 15 weeks by lmp).  this is my second and i feel like i have been showing for a while, but basically it is mostly extra tummy that i can just no longer suck in!

I'm about 12 weeks-based on LMP.  Nothing to show yet, I just look fat, I think.  lol

Ok, so I got curious.  I just took these pictures tonight at work.  I was pretty shocked!!  I *do* have a bump.  Yay me! (and baby!!)  

The first picture is me just regular, the second I tried to suck in as much as possible.  (my stomach used to actually go flat when I did that)

This is my 3rd pregnancy (not including a miscarriage in 2009) and the only one I've had the sense to be excited about.   We're hoping for a boy but we're going to wait until delivery to find out the sex.

A small update for me:  Just got back from my first midwife meeting.  I'm trying to do a HBAC and she is so supportive of my efforts!!  

I absolutely love her.  She's completely down to earth and so easy to talk to!

If anyone wants her information, just email me.  She is in the Savannah, GA area.

Anyway,  she measured me and sure enough, I was right about being a bit over 12 weeks.  We tried to hear the baby's heartbeat with a doppler but she wasn't able to locate it.  She said it's completely OK that we didn't hear it (even though that would have been a huge relief for me) but in a couple weeks, we'll try again and will probably be successful.

Anyway, I'm so EXCITED.  I really thought a VBAC wasn't going to be possible and I'm so happy I found her!

Don't feel bad, I just look bloated and this is baby #2.  I actually LOVE "looking" pregnant, so the waiting is killing me!  DH's coworker is ~22 weeks, and she looks perfectly tiny pregnant.  I want to throttle her.    I'll take a 15-week photo later today, even though it's technically a day early. 

ETA: Here's 15 weeks.  Funny, my belly button is starting to flatten out already.  Took much longer last time.

Love seeing all the cute tummy shots!  I'll live vicariously through you all for now I guess...16 weeks today but what with my long torso, tilted uterus, and extra 20 lbs pre-baby, I don't think I'll seriously show until I'm 6 months...arg...the wait is so hard!  I've still got plenty of room in my normal clothes so should be happy to not have to break out my disgusting maternity clothes yet.  Was kinda hoping to show sooner this time for a reason to buy something new and cute...oh well!  At least I'm starting to feel movements, that is very reassuring!!
