Constructive Frustration - Page 4

I wanted to let you all know that yesterday at 12 dpo I got my BFP!!!!! The only reason I even tested is because one of my best friends called me yesterday and said that she was pregnant and that she was counting on me to be pregnant with her. She's about 12 days ahead of me. The really bizarre part is about 2+ years ago I told her we should be pregnant together and she looked at me like I was a total nutcase because she was so far away from wanting kids. Maybe I was pulling in enough baby vibes for both of us winky.gif  I am so pumped!! I am really hoping this is a sticky bean!

Sweet KnittenKitten, now you can use your constructive juices to prepare for a little one!  Here is to many great handmade items during the next 9 months!

Well, yesterday I got really creative.  I made 3 vendor aprons and I have traded them with other ladies on etsy for Christmas gifts.  Yeah for being frugal!

What is everyone else up to?  Today I had a snow day so I created a "secret Santa gift exchange" gift - an up-cycled denim tote.  It turned out so cute!  This will be an awesome gift.

Lilac: I love all your recent creations and I especially love how you are being so creative with how to get Christmas gifts. The denim tote is super cute! I really like how it still has the denim details. I have been M.I.A. from the Mothering boards since I found out I was pregnant. I had a ridiculously busy Thanksgiving with 30 people at my house, then Friday was my grandma's 92nd birthday party, then Saturday my cousin's birthday party, tack on to all that being newly pregnant and it was pretty intense! Luckily my nausea didn't start kicking in until Friday. I haven't been being very crafty, either. The only thing I am slowly working on now is a cowl for myself made from baby alpaca yarn. So soft! I have bought the yarn for making myself a bolero, too, but I don't have the needles I need. I kinda figured since I've already made so many things for baby I better make a couple things for me before I don't have the time anymore wink1.gif. I hope all is well with everyone and we all become motivated by the cooler weather to create some beautiful things!

Yeah, I liked the idea of including the pockets from the old pair of jeans.  Most tutorials seam rip them off, but I left them on and I like that.  I would love to see the cowl you are making.  I am working on a circle sweater for my sister and a pink little "knifty knitter" hat (my first experience with this loom "knitting").  Things are turning out well, although I had a cramp in my hand from crocheting too much.

Well, AF showed up in full force today.  Yesterday my temp dropped so it was off to the sewing room!

I finished up a little girl's dress.  I am making a matching one for a pair of sisters.
