oooh, I will in a few days, once we get the baby room painted! This is the first time i've had a "baby room" so i'm excited. The funny part is that we co sleep and I wear my babies...so it's really just going to be a fancy storage room for at least a year. haha

I have no baby space right now and I don't anticipate doing any baby decorating, but I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else is doing!

I def will, but I prob wiont have one until after baby gets here and it will prob just be a picture of my unmade be with an extra diaper laying around...lol

I don't have the cradle set up yet in our room, but I'll post that when I do. The dresser is all set up now though, with the diapers and the clothes. Our washer and dryer are in the bathroom upstairs, which is convenient as anything with a baby, so we keep the dresser for them in a nook in the bathroom also. I change them on a bathmat on top of the dryer (last year I sewed a "cozy" for our washer and dryer so that they would look pretty. I'm always threatening to upholster unsightly areas in our house--gets DH movin'! I even threatened to upholster our driveway this summer whistling.gif) Anyway, looking forward to seeing the baby spaces, as they are, and I'll take pics when I'm set up.

I have NOTHING done yet, but this is my inspiration.

I need to take some more pictures, but this is the color scheme for my girly.  The previous owners of our new house were a couple in their eighties, the decor of the whole house is rather geriatric, so I love that she has a colorful room.  (And I made DH drag the recliner up stairs because we don't have a bathroom on the main floor and I can't sleep in bed all the time but didn't want to run up and down the steps all night.)    I set up the bassinet in our room last weekend.  It is beside the dog crate, not the best look, but functional!  She probably won't be in her crib ever.  DH said we will have to rotate sides because it isn't fair she will be closer to me every night.  ;-P  Her name is top secret...except for on here.

Book/toy shelf and crib. Where the baby swing is, will eventually be a comfy chair for nursing.

This is the saying over the crib

Little play area with a mat and some mirrors. The Mat got changed though because ds decided he likes this one so he traded with the one that was in his room. So the one in the nursery is now blue/tan/off white circles.

Changing table/dresser. Hamper on the left, a diaper pail will eventually be on the right.

Closet door.

Right now there's not much to see. I just cleaned today. Painting comes next.

Ok, LOVE this!  purple and green is my favourite colour combo. And the white really freshens it up!   Love that you have a pinterest board for the nursery.  I just followed you, too :)

I'm following you now too, Beth. :)

These are great! off topic: I tried to get on pinterest and they sent me an email and said I was on a waiting list for an invite?! Is that normal?

I can send you an invite-just message me your email address;)

Ok, so here's our progress thus far...
Before : Ok, the true before had this room packed to the brim with boxes as we were using this room for storage! but here's the "cleaned up" before (this isn't even our stuff in the room, this was the listing pic from when we bought the house. The paint, the hideous blue carpeting and ceiling fan are all the same though-uggg, and those awful blinds.):

And in transition: (Carpet is torn up, and walls are now pink. I can't believe I went with pink...I never thought i'd do that. But I figure this is the one time in my life when I'm going to be able to paint a room this colour!  The shade is Martha Stewart "ballet slipper".

After will be happening shortly! (hopefully!)

Love Martha's colours, and love the ballet slipper - it's a sophisticated pink winky.gif

When we moved into our house I designated one of the rooms as our spare room/my sewing room, and I decided to go wild and paint it shell pink, a pretty, glowey coral pink...kind of over the top, but I really wanted a pink room and decided to go for it - after all, you can always paint over it later!

So funny, I feel like I've jinxed it, and now the baby will be born a boy! hahaha

Ok, so baby doesn't have a terribly exciting room yet - she will be sleeping with us and I have moved her crib into our room as well.  In a year or so we'll move her into her own room but it's a big project because the room is currently a spare room/sewing room.  So, here are pictures of her crib in our room.

I still need to make a mobile and will probably make her a quilt as well to go.  The crib skirt is an old piece of embroidery (a tablecloth maybe?) I found at the thrift shop years ago

And I'm going to cheat a bit and show DD's new 'big girl room'.  When she got her new big bed I rearranged everything and added a few new pieces (bookshelf, art, etc)  but it is essentially the same as when it was her baby room

Wow, that's gorgeous! I love the colors. I just finished a couple of projects for his room, so once I get them up, I'll post them.

Love the room!!!!

Here is our baby room when DS was a baby....

It is now toddler friendly so no crib but lots of toddler friendly toys and such.  DD will be in our room the first year so next year we plan on bunkbeds in their room.
