how much is the fishy pool?

I see it now for $35 on amazon, but I coulda sworn earlier in my pregnancy when I looked, it was around $25! Am I misremembering or did they jack the price up? I've been waiting to see if it goes on sale at the end of summer but I don't want to wait more than a few more weeks

It depends on the seller. For example, when I bought mine, the different sellers varied in price from about $35-$50, but the shipping costs are also very different.  I think the best is if Amazon sells it directly so you can get the free super saver shipping.

I'm 33 wks with my second and just received my fishy pool from Precious Arrows.  It ended up being around $10-12 cheaper total than the Amazon listing because I was able to get a lower shipping rate by having it sent to my DH's work address.  But after extensive comparisons, Amazon would have been the 2nd cheapest I could get. No one had it for less than the $30 I paid. It seemed to all come down to shipping. :(

I would also highly recommend Precious Arrows for their customer service.  I had some issues with our credit card seeming to bill multiple times and they helped us get everything cleared up and actually ended up shipping the pool before the payment cleared on the card!

I have the octagonal (ocean reef) fishy pool that I paid $36 for after shipping, but it's gonna be too big for our bedroom so I ended up buying a smaller one. If you can't find one anywhere else, I'd be happy to sell you the one I have for $30ppd. It's still in the box!

Mine was $25 back in 2008, but I haven't seen it for less than $30 in ages--$35 sounds about right.

I'm all sorts of bummed. greensad.gif  I bought the hexagonal fishy pool on amazon for $59 (free shipping, at least).  It was at the height of summer but I guess that's why I jumped on it, because I thought it would sell out.  You know how that website says "Order soon! Only 2 left in stock!"  Yeah, I believed them.  Oh well, it's still better than renting the "real thing" for $200.

ETA (I don't even know what ETA stands for, by the way. Edited something something?) : the pool I'm talking about is the bigger sister of the fishy pool y'all are talking about. Don't mind me, unless you want a price comparison between big and small shy.gif

I lucked out on ebay and found one, brand new, for $10 with free shipping back in 2008 or 2009.

This really doesn't help now, but with our last baby, I found them on clearance at Target at the end of the summer for $5 each. I bought 2, and sold one to another mom for $10, so I got mine for free, and she got a great deal. Target doesn't seem to carry them now. I did find some on ebay for $40, free shipping. That was better than Precious Arrows  and amazon. I will have to check In His Hands.
