I'm sorry for the delay... I will pm an address list tonight (and pm those that wanted to participate but haven't sent me addresses yet, cause the list is a lil light right now...so if you haven't sent me one - send it! :) )  I am going to keep updating the address list (I'll seperate new/old whenever I send out old info) as I get more addresses so if you send them out right away, there might be more...

So... start making your postcards.  You can make or buy them (and they don't have to be all the same if you don't want them to be), but they should somehow relate to your state...   Introduce yourself, tell a lil something about your state...  have fun with it!  I'm not sure of your comfort level, but if you include an email address my children will totally write you to tell you they got your postcard ...

I will take both AZ and Ohio.

can i please bow out of this?  messages are going unanswered (has the organization of this fallen apart?)  our state (and now the second one i chose) has been taken and, quite honestly, i don't really want to send a postcard from a state that has little to no meaning for me or my child.

sorry for wasting your time.  hope this doesn't cause a problem.  please remove my address and child's name from any list you have.  if we do end up receiving a postcard we will return one.

I have everything in an excel spreadsheet -- I have 2 email addresses that I will send as attachments to.  If anyone knows a better way (some of the pms came out funky) please let me know.  Maybe I'll cut/paste into the basic windows text editor first and see if that looks better for posting in a pm?

All updated pm's have gone out.  I still haven't heard from a few people that signed up and we're missing quite a few states still...  but, lets start with what we have and go from there...

Let me know if they still come out funky... I could see everything when I sent it, but that doesn't mean you'll all be able to... (yeah - I like computers, but they don't always like me back!!)

Hi!  You must have sent them to us, I didn't realize that they came until the other day (DH put them in the pile with the circulars and junk mail ).  Thank you!  DD1 thought they were cool and was very pleased with herself when she could find them on the map.  And prickly pear jelly...that is soooo neat.  I will have to try this if I can find prickly pears anywhere.

We're going to go find some cards this coming week, from Colorado. We've enjoyed getting the Arizona and Ohio cards!

I am so happy 'our' cards got to the destinations.  No one posted, I feared the mailman lost them!!  Looking forward to getting all sorts of great postcards.

We sent 2 to you before Halloween from Virginia.  You didn't receive them?  The rest go out tomorrow.

We're hoping to get ours out from Texas tomorrow. We received the cards from AZ and Ohio and my son loved them.
