Did you get some from AK? 'cus I'd be happy to take the Alaska slot and mail out some cards. smile.gif We would totally dig getting some from other states.

Being New Yorkers, we try to stay away from areas where postcards are sold.  We finally got them last week and will be sending them next week.  I have no problem getting them slowly.  I think it will be a nice surprise to get one in June.  I know some of you are waiting, so we will get ours done.

June?  Really?  By then I probably will have moved.  My kiddo and I have give up hope on this long ago.

We live in NY but my sister-in-law lives in Rhode Island we can do a postcard from there :)

Just to clarify: to anyone wanting to join up: 5 kids sent out about 24 postcards each, which was a lot of work for them, and have been waiting months for return postcards.  I am hoping that that will eventually happen, but in the meanwhile, I won't be adding anyone else to this list.

This is kinda why we used to only allow any kind of swaps in the MDC Swaps forum, where there was feedback and membership requirements and more accountability and stuff like that. People were unhappy about that so we relented and started allowing things like Valentine swaps and postcard swaps here... but if you're unhappy with the lack of response here, you might want to keep your swaps over there, because members tend to take those swaps more seriously...

Yes, but most of the folks who are in this have hundreds, or thousands, of posts.

Last year we participated in the Valentines swap: we sent out 25 cards and recieved 25 cards back.  That was very nice, and I was hoping for something similar for my kids.

Mamas (& your patient kids!), I am SO sorry. I'll be the first to admit, I've been a huge flake! Just picked up a stack of postcards. Need to run to the post office for postcard stamps tomorrow morning and ours will be on their way!

TX will come out soon. I promise. We've had a crazy few months and I feel really bad for for forgetting about this. But I have them all ready to be addressed and they will go out asap.

We received  NY, Thank you!

Remember, postcards go up 3 cents on Sunday.  So, either get them out today or make sure you've got 32 cents on them.

Greetings from Nevada are in the mail today!  I found 22 addresses in the messages--hopefully that covers everyone.  If for some reason you do not receive yours by the end of the week, PLEASE, please let me know and I'll send it out asap!

Thank  you for your patience!  Between holidays, pet deaths, and the craziness of everyday life, I was tardy.  My apologies!  I hope you all enjoy the cards.

Most of all, a BIG thank you to all for participating.  We hung a map of the US in our kitchen and all your postcards to go along with the states.  The girls have loved them all, but I think their favorite to date is the "cute" Florida crocodile (or was that an alligator...gotta go check!).

Thank you, thank you, thank you all!

We mailed ours out today, so you should be getting your cards from TX soon.I'll have to apologize for my handwriting, I had a neurological episode last month  that affected my right side that I am still healing from and my handwriting is not quite up to par yet.  But it's still slightly better than my 4 year old, so I did it :P

This is a 2 year old thread. Interested in organizing another swap? You'd probably want to start a new thread if you do.

I haven't posted here in a long, long time, but this thread caught my eye! There is a facebook group that does an ongoing postcard exchange. You could check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/50StatesPostcardExchange
