Pressure from my Inlaws

My Inlaws are putting enormous pressure on me to bring my daughters for circumcision. I will not give in to their demand because it is dehumanizing and aginst everything I stand for. I don't want my daughters to experience what I pass through when I was circumcised as a young girl. Now they see me as a deviant to the clan, but I will keep on fighting.

It's not always easy standing up for our kids. They will thank you for it.

When people question me, I tell them if they are right, when my ds is 18 he is welcome to get a circumcision. It's not my choice to make for him.

I know how hard it can be to stand up to circumcision when no one else in your cultural circle has done so. Our kids are worth it.
