Got a BFP 8 DPO, now 9 DPO I'm getting negatives?

How did you test and what did you test with?

Which urine did you use for each day's test? First morning, later in the day, etc...

Which tests did you use for each day's test? Some brands are more sensitive than others.

I tested with Ebay cheapies, same brand, both days with first morning urine collected in a cup.

Hmmm... Maybe you have some dud tests? I don't trust the Internet cheapies, I use Dollar store tests. Regardless of that, I don't believe much in false positives either.

Test again tomorrow, you either sadly had an early loss, or happily had a false negative test.

(Unless you still have today's pee, in which case I would try testing again if you also have some of the Ebay tests left.)

Was the first BFP definitely colored and appear within the time frame?  If it was difficult to tell if the line was colored or showed up after the waiting period then consider it also a negative.  Evaps with IC are pretty common.  8 DPO is also very early to get a BFP.  Not impossible, just early and not common.  I don't think false positives happen hardly ever either.  So if it was NOT an evap then the most likely scenario is that your levels were just barely above the sensitivity of the test and then dropped due to an early loss.

I would suggest getting a dollar store test or splurge on a FRER and test again tomorrow with FMU.  If you again get something so faint you're not sure what you're seeing, go for a digi that only requires an hCG level of 25.  Or you could wait a few more days and if you don't get AF, test again.  Good luck and keep us posted!

I would def splurge on an FRER and test tomorrow with FMU. I used internet cheapies (the 10miu ones from earlypregnancytests.com) and the lines were so faint I thought they were evaps or my imagination. Also, some were BFNs while others had those ultra-faint lines. I got some FRERs and got a faint, but clear positive at 10dpo. By 11dpo it was BFP. Don't trust the ICs. Like Stevi said, even the dollar store tests are better! 

I'm hoping it wasn't an evap or early loss...let us know what happens!!

It's still early!  If you have pinpointed O correctly (do you have a chart to share?) and know that you're 11 DPO today, then you still could be in the game.  That first test was SO early and really may have been faulty or an evap.  Many women need to wait until 12-14 DPO to accurate results.

This happened to me last month.  I tested 8 DPO cuz I was curious.  I got a faint BFP...I tested the next day and had a -.  Tested later in the day and had a +...The subsequent tests later were all - and my period started earlier than normal.  I think it was a chemical pregnancy and sounds possible that you had the same.  I'd really encourage you to wait at least until 12 DPO because chemical pregnancies are REALLY common and just not discovered unless you test really early.  If a fertilized egg just BRUSHES against your lining it will release HCG.  Also, some of the cheapy internet tests can be more sensitive than others.  I know it's SO HARD TO WAIT!!!  I was dissapointed, but this month, I will wait longer to test to help maintain my sanity!!

I'm in the same boat OP.  Tested 9 DPO and got a positive and the last two I did were negative.  Now today I am two days late.  I went out and bought FRER this evening.  There are three in there and am trying my best not to go use one right now!  Fingers crossed for you OP.
