Looks like a UK company, and I just heard of them for the first time today. They seem pretty reasonably priced, and cute, and are supposed to be a "healthy" shoe. Â I'd sorta given up on finding "good" shoes for dd, especially since she's VERY picky. I think she has low arches in her feet? So arch supports in shoes bother her a lot. "there's bumpys" she says. Best bet is maryjanes with either a very low arch or no arch support. Can't count the number of shoes we've bought the kid that she refused to wear after wearing them once or twice. Anyway, was hoping someone on here has tried those Vivos and can tell me about them. The Pallys look like something dd would like, but since I have to order them I want to be SURE! Is there an arch in there that will bother her? How do they hold up to rough active kid play? Scuffing? It says puncture resistent sole, but can it hold up to a blackberry thorn? (our yard has tons) I'm also wondering if, since she's been used to thick soles for so long, if the super thin sole will overwhelm her. Like, it may be puncture resistent but if she's walking along on sharp gravel and feels the rocks underneath? She can be finicky.. if she "feels" rocks, even if it doesn't actually hurt, she might balk. Hmm.. Someone here has to have tried them?

Anyone tried vivo barefoot shoes?

We haven't tried the vivo shoes but my very picky DD1 has the vibram barefoot shoes. She adores them. We've done the same thing, many years of trying all sorts of shoes for her, she hates most of them, refuses to wear shoes except mostly flip flops and uggs in the winter. The vibrams have held up well, she goes hiking in them and hasn't complained about no support but then again the child refuses to wear shoes unless she has to so lack of arch support probably doesn't mean much to her.Â
