I thought I'd start a new chit chat thread here... shall we all add our names again now that the group is smaller?  To add your name please include the following with the formatting below (choose a color for your bolded names):

TTC for 6mo..  Well, not really preventing for 6mo.  My af was wacky from breastfeeding though.

Yeah, I couldn't just click on the "approve membership" button in the PM, I had to actually go to the group and approve pending members.  Even then it didn't let me approve one request and Cynthia had to do it.  Seems like the social groups are full of bugs right now.

My sister, who's due on Dec. 24th had her ultrasound today.  She found out that her baby might have hydrocephalus..  She very scared right now and could use all the positive thoughts and prayers possible.  She has another ultrasound scheduled for next week with a high risk dr.  Hopefully everything will turn out okay, but it's still super scary to even have the thought.  I feel so bad for her.  :(

TTC for 9 months ... was in denial about my pregnancy symptoms because I was scared to HOPE that I was pregnant after many dissapointing negative tests.  When hubby offered me a chocolate and I turned it down because I was so nauseous, he went with me to buy a test and lo and behold, we were 5 weeks pregnant at that point :):)

Excited for this little Jellybean to arrive ... a little sad that I live on the other end of the globe from my wonderful parents, wish I could share more of this pregnancy with them, since it is their first grandchild (I am in Canada, my family is back in South Africa) ... thankful for my aunt (mom's sister) who lives in our city and inlaws who live on the other end of the country ...  This babe is well loved by all the people who surround it!!!

2011mama - MK: Due 11/9 with baby #1, TTC 9 months with PCOS (last 2 months with an RE, successful second cycle). Planning a homebirth with a CPM. (I felt hypocritical at first using medicine to help me conceive but not to deliver but finally came to terms with my PCOS being a legitimate medical concern while birth does not need to be a medical event in most cases.)

At my MW appointment last Friday my blood pressure was super low.  That would explain why I am suddenly exhausted again, dizzy, and short of breath.  What a pain!  I'm already taking more iron then my body knows what to do with, and drinking tons and tons and tons of water.  : (

I've always had low blood pressure, and it bottomed out for me at around 28 weeks.  I was getting ringing ears and going almost black frequently.  Luckily, it looks like my bp is coming back up and the near fainting spells are few and far between.  I feel like a water pump over here, it just goes in and out by the gallon!

I'm not having BP issues, but my anemia is not improving at all. I've been taking Floradix for a couple of months now, and at my last appointment my iron was just as low as before I started. Sigh. Part of the problem is I forget to take it twice a day. I am also ridiculously thirsty. I drink constantly! Is that somehow related...? I didn't know.

due December 2nd, but I've gone 10 days early and 3 weeks early with the last 2, so I think this babe will be here in November.

planning a HB with a CPM...but there is a slight chance I might have to let my midwife go due to iffy finances. :(  I'm trying to decide if I'd rather have a UC or water birth in hospital if that happens (DS was a UC, surrobabe was born in the hospital, and I'm not too jazzed about either choice, frankly).  Other than that, having a fantastic pregnancy. :)

That's so cool that you were a surrogate!!  Have you shared that story anywhere? I always wonder if I could do it (I don't necessarily *love* pregnancy).  I have some dear gay friends whom I would consider carrying a baby for.  Would love to hear about your experience!

Ugh I am anemic too and have been taking Vitanica Iron supplements.  They are going to retest at my 32 week appt to see if it's improved... I hope so!
