I'm still nursing my 20 month old son.  I hope to nurse him until he as at least 2, but know that sooner or later it will be too painful!
hope your little guy is better, soon!

I've been feeling alright. More tired every day this week. And wanting to eat really often.

It's been a rough few days...my 18mo has been sick with like a stomach flu, not eating anything, and wanting to nurse constantly. He was down to just nursing 3x/day, and I swear it was at least every hour today. OW! Bad timing. Nursing definitely hurts already. Any other nursing mamas out there?

me, too.  I think this might be the earliest I've known that I was pregnant.... I swear I could feel it happening (weird!).  So I was a tad dizzy and nauseous, but now I feel mostly fine.  Not too tired, not too sick.... I hope this baby is sticky!  This is number 5 for me, too.

Feeling anxious today. Waiting to see that tiny faint line turn into a dark "girl u knocked up" line.

Cramping and weird full sensation in uterus. Hopefully it's not a bad sign.

Same here lol. I know the day I got pregnant and I knew it when it happened. I was just like yup, that was the one with the guy in it who swam like a champ. orngtongue.gif It sucks knowing so soon because now I know I am pregnant, and I am on pins and needles waiting for the first signs of pregnancy that probably won't even start for the next 3 weeks! Long wait. Let's find out if it's harder than the 2WW.

I am 30, this is my first pregnancy (our second, partner carried our little guy (2.5)), due May18th. Had a miscarriage in April so very nervous and looking forward to seeing a healthy baby at our 7w U/S. Feeling very bloated.

Hello! I'm Serena, 28 yrs old and this will be #2 with an EDD May 10th. I'm so excited and hoping this goes well. I've had one miscarriage in the past to I'm a hesitant to announce until about 4 months.

My DD is 3 years old and very spirited. I'm already feeling nausea a lot and then starving. I don't remember being so hungry with DD this early! My boobs are killing me and when DD wants to nurse i can barely stand it! At least she's down to 2X a day, not sure if i'm going to be able to nurse her through the pregnancy and i'll feel bad about weaning if she doesn't do it on her own.

I'm 40. This is my third child and and second pregnancy. We first started TTC when I was 28. We adopted DD1 in 2005. DD2 was conceived through IUI and born in 2009. We're a little surprised by this spontaneous conception but very excited.

Today I'm tired. Everyday I'm tired. My DH is stress about a work project and not sleeping well. My 2 year old still wakes occasionally at night to nurse. Usually she goes right back to sleep but there are some nights she just wants to be awake. Even my 5 year old has been waking up. I should go to bed earlier but I love that quite part of the day when the kids are asleep.

I'm not nauseous but when I wake up in the morning I already feel full and am not interested in breakfast (but I try to eat anyway). My digestive system has slooooooowed down. Lots of gas. I get slightly dizzy if I don't drink enough fluid.

One cool thing is that my hair has already started looking better. I lost so much hair post partum and what grew in was fine and brittle so I had it cut short.

Masel, I lost a ton of hair with both my kids too....and it has never grown back the way it used to ... It grew back, but like you said -- its sooo fine and brittle. I am really looking forward to pregnancy hair!!!!

Hi, I am new here to MDC.

I am 27 this is baby number 3.  I have an almost 5 year old DD and a 20 month old DS.  I am due around May 12th.

So far I feel really tired.  Like could lay down on the floor at any moment and fall right to sleep.  My super smeller has kicked in, and I am finding that random smells make me gag.  So far I don't totally feel pregnant, just bloated, and super cranky.

hi crys, welcome to mdc!  I am new here, too but not new to the magazine... I was on the old boards a long time ago, but all the new features are cool!  I love reading and exploring this place!

I'm 36 and pregnant with baby #1 after trying for 3 years. Twice I have thought I was pregnant but I never got a second line on the test. This time it was there. So yay! But we're also being cautious. We've only told a couple of people and none of them are family. I wonder when I will feel confident enough to shout about it.

I tried to call the birth center where I've had my well woman visits for an appointment but no one has called me back. (Same thing happened when I called my hairdresser for an appointment last week. So frustrating!) I guess if I need supplemental hormones I better not need them soon.

So far everything feels good. Last week I was moody, I had to pee all the time, I had to eat every couple of hours but not too much, and I couldn't sleep at all. The past couple of days I haven't felt those so much but now my breasts are getting so I'll need bigger bras. I'm just at 5 weeks today, though, so I'm sure more is to come.

EDD 5/12, just before my birthday and our 4th wedding anniversary. I hope this little one makes it!

You ladies all sound so nice. I am excited and hopeful to go through our pregnancies together!

I wonder if it is a nutrition thing, Onemoreontheway, you think B- vitamins might help?  It's weird because I eat so much meat.

I think the B complex vitamins I am taken are seriously helping me. I eat a lot of meat also, and salads lately but I'm pretty sure the reason I haven't been crazy emotional is cause of the B vits. You can try it for a couple days. Even the dollar tree has the B complex vits. Come to think of it, I think that is where I bought mine.

I am so excited to join this group!

Due around 7 May 2012!!!

Hoping for a sticky baby this time.

Home birth is our plan again.  Once with a midwife, once on our own.  I will go with my intuition on this one.  ( Before it all the sudden became clear to me...that I needed to home birth with a mid wife here, and the second that I wanted to do it on my own, just me & DH.

I am taking Omega III, Folate, Rainbow prenatals and progesterone  (because of chronic miscarriage).

Carlito's Wife~ I knew it right away too!  Funny!

The gals with the hair issues...I love using organic coconut oil in my hair.  I glob it on & put on a "do-rag" for a few hours first thing on Saturday morning.  It has helped brighten & shine my crazy mane!

Blessings Ladies & seedlings...

rainbow lights are my fav prenatal, too!  do you take the only one or the ones with lots of little vitamins to take?  I've usually take the 1, but am thinking of order the multis... variety is the spice of life :) I also take fish oil for omega, III :)  welcome, mama!  I look forward to hearing more about your UC.

Rainbow lights gave me the most awful headaches (we believe because of the iron) - I have heard tons of good things from other mamas about them though.

I take rainbow light as well. I really love their baby bath produtcs too.

Hiya! I'm Sara. I'm 24 and this will be my first bio-baby. My due date is May 16th!

My partner is currently pregnant with our first baby together, and she's due in november. She also have given birth to two other cutie pies, they are 6 and 8.

I'm feeling a bit queasy, DP assures me its my bodies way of telling me I'm hungry. Smells are becoming more intense, but so far it hasn't been a bad thing. I'm super excited about this!

Wow Sara! Two babies in a home, that ought to be a huge adventure! lol

Glad you're here!

Wow Sara!  I was thinking the same thing, 2 babies at one time, you guys must be up for a challenge!! :)  Welcome everyone!

Awh, I like how each child in your family has a buddy!  I thought that we should have an even numer of kids, so everyone has a hand to hold.  But I guess with #5 we will be an odd numbered family.  :)   Wecome sara!
