Just have to share my Worst Nap Ever story.

So, DD (17 months) went down for her nap easily today.  I went about my business, then heard her crying about 40 minutes in.  When I went in, she was halfway to the door, sobbing her little head off.  She does this thing sometimes where she wakes up crying inconsolably.  It usually happens at night, but today it was during her nap.  She cried and cried and writhed around while I tried everything I could think of to calm her down.  Nothing worked.  At some point I asked her if she was okay, and she gave me the cutest, most pitifully squeaky, shuddering "Yeah, (sob, sob) yeah" ever.  Fifteen minutes into this I decided to try giving her some Tylenol, thinking her new bottom molar might be the problem. I popped the medicine in her mouth while she screamed, but she didn't swallow, gagged on the medicine, then threw up her lunch all over herself, me, and the bed.  Then we were all covered in puke, she was wailing and gagging and choking, she kept trying to hurtle herself into my puke-covered arms while I fumbled for a towel...and then she noticed that I had taken a box down from the attic.  OOH!  Box!  She smiled, trotted over to it (still hiccuping down puke), and proceeded to gleefully empty the contents onto the floor.  BIG sigh.  It was quite the nap.

Georgia wakes up that way every once in a while, but has never thrown up like that. Ugh I hate cleaning up puke! So sorry!

Oh, poor little love. And poor mama too. I hope the box made everything all better.
