I don't know.  I really thought my last one would be a girl.  So my intuition sucks.  I've mostly been worried about it being twins which I was never worried about with the #1 and #2.

This is going to sound nuts, especially for someone not-at-all-ever superstitious, but before we conceived I felt that I would have a girl because I've recently been hearing a lot of songs about Lola on the radio.  Lola (DH's grandmother's name) is the name we have picked out for a girl.  It's really weird...haha.  I also found some Chinese gender predictor calendar online and it said it would be a girl too.   I love the anonymity of the internet because I could never tell anyone I know IRL about this...LOL.

I have heard about some trick with a needle that supposedly predicts gender.  Has anyone ever heard or done this before?

Casmer, yep, that sounds totally nuts! Just kidding, I actually did all of those little tricks like holding a needle on a string above my belly and seeing which way it spun, looking up a Chinese calendar, etc. with my last one. Everything pointed to girl, but he is clearly not one. I kind of thought he would be a boy, though. And this one, I really think will be a girl. 

There are a few products - One called "gender maker" and one called "intelligender" ...basically you take it like a pregnancy test with urine and it tells you if its a boy or a girl. I kind of want to get one just for fun :-)

Meredith - read those reviews online for those gender predictor things and they are way off.. save your money!

Well I guess I'll be leaving it up to the radio until the Dr. can tell me :)

I was wrong with two of my kids, and didn't really guess with the first, so I clearly don't have much of a record! This time slightly hoping for a girl for symmetry's sake (I have 3 girls), but a boy would be fun, too.

It's weird....I really have no feelings either way with this one.  I usually have a strong guess, which isn't usually right....but nothing with this one.  I don't have a preference for either, although another girl would even things out.  Guess I just have to wait 14 more weeks!  Maybe I'll start having stronger intuitions in a few weeks.

I'm like that too!  No signs here yet though. 

Here's the needle one: http://www.babygenderprediction.com/needle-gender-prediction.html  When I did it I held it over my wrist.  Apparently it's supposed to tell the gender of all your children (stop between each one, then start again).  I know it was right for DD, but I can't remember what it said about other children.  I'm gonna have to do it again!

ETA: I don't really have any intuition about this one yet.  I'm sort of starting to think it might be a boy, but only because I puked for the second day in a row today.  I only puked once the entire pregnancy with DD.  I know every pregnancy is different though, and that it doesn't really mean anything.

I did it before I was ever pg the first time.  It said: boy, boy, girl, boy, girl, girl, boy, boy, girl.  I think.  It's been a while and I'm not sure about the last two.  They may have been switched.  Supposedly "it" doesn't count miscarriages either. 

I had 2 m/c, then girl, boy, girl, girl.  But, if m/c count, and those were boys, then, maybe?  And I do feel very strongly this one is a boy.  *shrug*
