Halloween Costumes? - Page 3

I decided to go as a preggo rabbit for a bit of humor ;)

We went to a party last weekend and the costume was a last minute idea, but cute.  Big rabbit ears, a tail and a white/grey outfit.  Oh, and looots of makeup!

I posted these in the craft section, but here is the final result. (Well, kind of final. I need to wash off some bits of paper once the paint is cured.)

DD's:

The paper template lasted until the last shirt, when it got SOAKED by DD and DH sponge painting his shirt. DD is going as a cheetah for Halloween, but she wanted in on the action too.

Yours turned out so great!! I, on the other hand, am apparently colorblind. Started painting tonight and realized that not only is my paint light pink instead of white...but when it dries it becomes transparent with LOTS of glitter. Soooooooo we'll see tomorrow if it is adorable or awful. :)

It is still cute, and I doubt most people would notice. smile.gif I like the glitter! I wanted to add glow in the dark paint on top of the white paint, but DH didn't come home with any, so I figured it wasn't meant to be. wink1.gif We wore ours downtown for that haunted Sutter's Fort tour, and the volunteers all liked my shirt. Only downside is that my uterus is seriously tilted to the right, so it makes the shirt look like it it twisted some to the left. Oops!

So, last night was a little hectic. We had company, and I couldn't put face paint on DD or take pictures without someone quite literally over my shoulder. Ack! I LOVE Halloween, and it is normally the one holiday where we don't have to deal with family. Except this time. So, no picture of my shirt yet, but I'll have DH get one after he's gotten over this cold. Here's what I could get of DD. She would only make a "sour milk" face, as she called it. wink1.gif She said the crummy face paint we ended up with was burning, so I ended up doing a quick job with mineral makeup, and she was happy with it.
