Rolling over concern

I'm slightly concerned because my 7 almost 7 week old rolls over. I know this is really early and I was at first excited. But then I got to thinking about how the neurodevelopmental ARNP that sees him said to watch for seizures. He isn't having anything that I would consider seizure activity, but I do think it's odd that he can roll over. here's a video of it. what do you think? He has his 6 week appt with his regular ped this Friday, but we dont see the neurodevelopmentalist for 3 more months.http://s808.photobucket.com/albums/zz10/mamahen16/Randoms/?action=view&current=IMG_0644.mp4

Oh my goodness, what a determined little guy.  That looks like very normal (early!) rolling to me- not something I would worry about at all.

My great nephew (oh boy that phrase makes me feel OLD!) rolled over, very similar to your little boy at 5-6 weeks. The doctor was not concerned at all. He just looks like a baby with great neck control and who hates being on his tummy!

My son rolled over and did a full push up at 6 weeks.  He is 4 now and totally fine.  More than fine, pretty significantly gifted in all areas - physically to mentally.

eta:  mine rolled back to front though.  Not that it matters.

I think it is pretty normal too.  But I have to say that  is one CUTE baby!!  I just love the slightly suprised expression on his face when he finally manages it.  Adorable!

I have a friend born in 1975 who was left on a changing table by a nurse while his mom was "out of it" because newborns don't rollover--well he did rollover and fell 3-4ft onto the concrete floor...he's ok though thumb.gif.  My ds rolled over by 4 weeks, possibly 2 weeks.
