Spotting :(

So I just started spotting/bleeding, bright red - not a large amount, but enough to scare me. I'm almost 5 weeks.
I had a miscarriage around 7 weeks in January 2010, and this is just bringing back memories.

Anyone else experiencing any spotting?
I'll be heading into the ER if it gets any heavier, but right now, I just need some reassurance.

I have no advice as I am new to it all, but I am thinking of you and praying for you. hug2.gif

Thanks :)  it's not as bad now, and it's turned to pink tinged CM (...tmi?), so i'm feeling a bit better :)

I'm glad it's slowed down/stopped.  I hope it's nothing and you can be reassured soon that everything is OK.

sending sticky vibes! I am nervous about losing this baby, too.  We can be nervous together.  ((hugs)))

it's turning brighter now, but a friend told me that it could just be due to some  *ahem* cervix-poking activities that I participated in earlier this evening.
The cramping has stopped, so now I'm just hoping that the bleeding/spotting stops yet. Argh.
Thanks for the support ladies :)

i just wiped and got pink :/ i haven't had any spotting or cramping at all so im worried. this better stop soon, i don't like it.

hope yours is nothing to worry about Jello hug2.gif

edit: add some diarrhea to that (not usual thus far) and very mild cramping that i can barely feel.

if i lose this baby i'm going to be so devastated.

sticky vibes to everyone <3

((HUGS)) Sending lots of sticky vibes to everyone!!!! According to the American Pregnancy Association, 20-30% of women experience spotting during the 1st trimester and it isn't always a sign of a problem. I'm so worried about losing this baby also....forrestmushroom, I'm joining the nervous club :-) Heres to take-home babies for all of us!

I had spotting with my first between 9-10 weeks. It didn't even occur to me to be concerned until my MW freaked out and asked a hundred questions. Wiped with red blood, it went pink and stopped entirely and then started again 2 days later. Never a lot, almost exactly what you described, Jello. Made it to term with her with no problems at all after that.

Sticky vibes to you both!

Well it turned into period-like bleeding, and since I'm Rh negative, I figured I should head into the ER for the RhoGam shot.  Anyways - my cervix is still closed, i haven't passed any clots/tissue, and my hcg levels are 18 (low, but not low enough to be bad).  They want me to come back in on monday for another blood test - if my levels haven't doubled, I'll get an emergency u/s.
So now I'm just relaxing, and being waited on hand and foot by OH.  If this one ends in m/c, we're taking a break from this for a while :(

I'm sorry JelloPanda, sounds so disheartening and scary.

I prayed for you. Please keep us updated.

Jello, I'm thinking of you, hoping all turns out okay. hug2.gif

I've had spotting with all of my pregnancies.  Two I ended up miscarrying, and the other two ended up being my DS and DD.  Miscarriage is absolutely devastating, I know greensad.gif.

Keeping you in my thoughts, JelloPanda!  I hope the little bean sticks.  Keep us updated.  (((HUGS)))

How are you feeling today, Jello? Thinking about you. Stick little baby!!

thinking about you Jello and knowing exactly what youre going through. i hope like hell your little one sticks with you.

we lost our baby last night, quite gently but with much sorrow.

i've been passing quite a bit of tissue but i feel barely any pain and the bleeding is not too heavy.

somehow i didn't think this would happen to me, it just seemed so right and perfect that we would conceive right away and with a may day baby. we and the people around us put so much hope and excitement and happiness into the idea of this little one and now it's not going to be.

i already feel better today than i did last night. i know that DP and i are going to get through this alright.

thanks for the support here in May DDC, ladies and good luck with your pregnancies.

Oh Karla...My heart is so sorry for you all. You will get through this, but I am so very sorry. I can't say that enough.

May peace and love surround you at this difficult time.

Shalom,

Karla ~  I am so sorry for your loss.  You are right, you will get through this, but I am sure that isn't much consolation right now.  Lean on each other and know that we are all thinking and praying for you. grouphug.gif
